The Alma Mater

I am wondering:

*if* one would be capable to acurately measure the circumference and radius of a huge circle drawn around what the roundworlders call the geographic north pole, geographic south pole, and around the equator - and then show that the circles around the north and southpole do not obey the rule "circumference = 2 x Pi x radius" but instead correspond to circles drawn on a sphere..

Would you believe in roundworld ?

Actually, the formula is: circumference = pi * radius^2

But anyway, you're not likely to be able to accurately measure the circumference of the outer ring (the part you consider to be the south pole).  Navigation equipment doesn't work well near the edges, so god only knows where you'd end up sailing as you tried to measure things.

No, he had it right. Pi * r^2 is area.

Why would you need navigation equipment? Except maybe for getting there, I don't see any need for it.

Why won't navigation equipment work near the edges? Please explain, since flat-earthers always tell us who are sane to prove our theory, so I suggest you should prove your theory too.

And please, get some elementary school education, the circumference formula is pi*diameter (or 2*pi*radius), as pi * radius^2 is used for the area of a circle. No wonder you seem to have a problem grasping the fact that the earth is round. :P

Anyway, good post The Alma Mater. If you flat-earthers had the "right navigational equipment" to measure the circumference and the diameter of the poles and the equator, they would not match, as the spherical shape of the earth distorts the circles.

Above post was by me.

How do you know navigational equipment doesn't work well near the edges? You see how your delusion works? If someone GOES to the south pole, as people have and do... you'll just say... Oh! They're not seeing it right. Even though their navigational equipment managed to get them to the SAME location at the south pole every time.

No, he does have a point. The conspiracy elements at the ice-wall are bound to try and scramble any electronic equipment you're using.

Yes.

Fortunately for FE'ers everywhere, this type of measurement is impossible for any number of reasons.

Nobody has actually seen the Ice Wall Police guarding the Ice Wall that nobody has ever seen.  Where did people come up with that idea?

Well, somebody has to be stopping us seeing the Ice Wall for what it is, otherwise we'd see it. It makes sense that it would be a government, media, and business conspiracy since these groups are responsible for the misinformation about the Earth which permeates society.

And big foot really exists because we havent somebody is stopping us from seeing what he really is or else we would have already seen him! Same with the toothfairy, oh and santa!....you can bring this case back to the bible as many times as you want but you will always have the problem that the bible never had...Some people beleive in the bible others do not, there is no evidence that god and jesus DONT exist but theres also not alot that proves they DO (i for one do beleive) however in this round earth flat earth conspiricy theory, theres mounds of evidence proving it DOESN'T exist and none that it DOES, how are we supposed to know theres a 150ft tall giant ice wall with security and special ops penguins gaurding the invisible but not invisibe at the same time ice wall for no reason what so ever as to lie to the public that the earth is round to lie to the masses spending loads of money on media creating satalites that don't really exist yet are seen in the sky many a times by many people! Penguins are not cover op animals designed by the government, they're just animals, the earth is round, and i bet this response will get deleted from the sheer amount of retardation from the people who beleive the earth is flat yet can't prove it in any way/shape or form.

My second grade teacher always told us not to start anything with and.  I think this is substantial reason enough to ignore his post.

Whew even though i know you are on my side for that one, learn to write english correctly.  There needs to be punctuation, and since were on a forum; spreading paragraphs would be good.
