How do tectonic plates and volcanoes fit into all of this FE theory? Or does this question get thrown into the 'its a conspiracy/doesnt exist' pile?

They work the same way as on the RE.  The only exception is that the outgoing plates subduct at the ice wall.

So is it the plates, then magma, then another crust/elephants? Like some kind of scary sandwich?

Butbutbut

Q: "What's underneath the Earth?" aka "What's on the bottom?" aka "What's on the other side?"

A: This is unknown. Some believe it to be just rocks, others believe the Earth rests on the back of four elephants and a turtle.

I am new here, please excuse the n00bishness. But this flat-earth-ness intrigues me.

I really wish they would take that out of the FAQ...

The four elephants and a turtle is a reference to the Disk World books as well as the ancient Hindu belief - it's meant to be a joke.

Just like the whole FE theory is meant to be a joke? I seriously believe that this whole thing is a big joke used to get people pissed off because it amuses you. (I use "you" as a generalization to the FE population)

Because most flat earthers are ignorant dogmatic morons who refuse or deny any evidence that goes against what they believe.

This has been discussed here. http://theflatearthsociety.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5944

No logical explanation was found yet.

Also,  I don't remember Samuel Rowbotham saying anything about plates subducting at the ice wall. Never mind that subduction is not always possible.

You have not been around long enough to have dealt with phaseshifter on a regular basis.

Yep, that's because he's always right, and the RE'ers can't handle it.

And the Engineer doesn't deal with me at all since we never discuss anything. Not exactly "regular".
