Are we the only intelligent life in the universe?

Hello! i'm new to the FET. I have a few questions I didn't find answers to in the FAQ thread.
So if the earth is flat, are there other flat earth's out there? if not, can there be life on round earth-like planets? are we alone in the universe?? and if we are, what about the crop circles? who or what made them?

Probably, perhaps, likely not: and round or flat Earth I very much doubt aliens had anything to do with crop circles. Some are humans doing a prank, some are stoned wallabies.

Inteligent? Us? Judging by this forum, I question intelligence of life on this planet...

Crop circles are most likely an elaborate hoax perpetrated by bored tractor boys.  There's not a lot to do on a farm.

Aside from the low content nature of that post, which I thought was against the rules, but that's as may be, why  WOULDN'T they, is perhaps a better question. Maybe they are trying to communicate. Maybe they just want to piss us off. Who knows.

Personally, I believe that there is life out there. The idea that we are the only things alive in the entire cosmos is the height of hubris. I call it absolute pompous arrogance. Whether you are a FEer or a REer (and I belong the the latter group, personally), its hard to imagine being so obnoxiously self-centered that we actually think we are the center of all things, and that we are all that matters. How incredibly stupid.

I suppose from the FE point of view, when one considers that most FEers seem to believe that Earth IS the center of the universe, then maybe with that ridiculous notion we might just BE the only important part of Creation. How this can be rationalised is completely beyond my comprehension, but then, how any belief in a Flat Earth at all can be rationalised is completely beyond my comprehension. So there you are.

I hypothersize that it is human tech creating circles, some form of tech john titor mentioned - V-pulse - sounds theoretical. I propose focused microwave energy, in some form. It is a wave and HAARP tech is radio wave and they can draw in the sky and have refind their focusing, sink holes spring to mind. Whats to stop them creating a device to do it with microwave! Maybe they do already.

Even if you believe the science that created life on this planet you would be aware that all life came to this planet from a rock, landed in some liquids, created life! so in theory we are all aliens and could even be martians after the huge plant whatever it was, hit them and sent rocks flying , or was that gourge natural!

That is, of course, entirely possible. Again, I am not INSISTING that aliens are doing it. I am merely saying that it is possible, and until we know, it is hubris to INSIST that they are not.

Ah, ok. That was a bit off kilter too, but ok, I can KIND of see where you came from with that. That IS one of the theories for how life came to exist on our planet, although it is certainly not one to which I subscribe.

I don't believe that a meteor hit Earth and started life. I believe that G-d created life in the beginning, here and everywhere else. I am NOT going to get into a debate on the existence of a Deity, or lack thereof, because that is NOT the purpose of this thread or this part of the Forum, and I think even the Censors would agree with that. But that's as may be.

You, are, of course, welcome to believe anything you like about the origins of life here, and about crop circles, and about the existence of aliens, and so-forth. And I am allowed to believe that you are out of your mind, or at least smoking funny things, when you start mentioning the Simpsons, of all things, in what is supposed to be serious discourse. 

But hey, its all good. Carry on, and we'll see how things go. I am cool with anything you like to mention, no matter how "out there" it may seem.

Il read it again.. I was pretty tired when i posted. I dont know what Sic is! I do now realize it is not the topics for discussion but for answers and i apologize. ITS MY FIRST DAY

I only bring TV into it because it is put right in front of us for a reason, they show you things you cannot see. And teach us what they want us to learn! It is a reference point to me. And many of the video include captions from the TV, the same as it does the bible.

My creator was my mother and any higher power has yet to make themselves known to me. I cannot comprehend an almighty being clicked his fingers and made it so, i will however refer to the creator as god and my definition is a scientist working on a platform, be it digital or a piti dish i dont know.

After exhausting all probable avenues, the only conclusion is the inprobable.

A theory is open to debate because it is unproven and whilst some facts may support a theory this does not make the theory fact.. Im 34 and ive been sleeping all my life. Im waking up.
