The thread where you switch sides

In this thread everyone is supposed to argue for the opposing side.  Round earthers argue for flat Earth theory and flat earthers argue for round Earth theory.  People who believe in some other theory should argue from whatever theory they think is the least simelar to the one they believe in.  Please refrain from posting things that the opposing side might take offense too because that ruins the whole point of this thread.  I am doing this because I think it would be kind of fun and also because it helps people overcome closed mindedness and think more objectively.  If this thread is responsible for any people switching sides, they will most likely switch to whatever side is correct.

I will start the debate by saying that the Earth is clearly flat because the horizon always apears to be at eye level which is not what I would expect from a round Earth.  If the Earth were round then the horizon would always be below eye level, but that never happens.

Actually I think the dual earth theory is the correct one, as distances are correct this way.

I specifically said not to be insulting to each other because it defeats the purpose of this thread.  Please stop it.

Think about arguing for the other side as proving that you understand the other side, proving that you are versatile, proving that you can overcome strong biases that both sides are guilty of having, and proving that you are confident enough in your theory that are willing to take risks.  Pretending to be on the opposing side means that insulting that side is like insulting yourself.  If you want to be hostile toward each other then you have the rest of the forum, but please don't do it here.

Photos from NASA look extremely fake because of small details like how images of planets don't have any stars.  Only about 250 people have ever been to space and yet space travel technology has been around for long enough that I would expect that we would all have our own space crafts.  the Hubble images don't look anything like the night sky and the night sky is black with white stars, not all colorful like in the Hubble images.

I could't find anything about explanation of horizon in your theory. Can you elaborate on that in simple terms if possible?

@mikeman, I suggest that you to choose one "evidence" of a flat earth and then ask all RE'rs to defend you and all FE'rs to argue with you.

The Earth is a globe because I was told it was as a child and I just follow what the masses think. I like to come onto forums that go against the globe model so I can tell people time and time again that theya re stupid for believing Earth could be any other shape but a rotating globe.

I simply like expending much of my time waiting for a flat Earther or alternative Earther to post so I can jump right into the topic and call them stupid or nut jobs or uneducated idiots.

Basically I follow any model of Earth and space, etc, as long as it's the mainstream accepted model, regardless of direct physical evidence.

Guys, it's obviously dual-earth. A disk with two sides, as distances have to make sense.

At the edges, you have warped space that transports light and matter and everything on the other side in a seemingless way. Yes, that includes satellites, planets, stars, everything in the universe.

This is why the Earth appears to be round. It's just light curved through the warped space.

I used to lived in the southern "hemisphere". I spent the night sleeping in my bed and didn't fall off. That is a direct physical evidence that the earth is flat.

Somewhere between 500 and 600 people (Usually 536, depending on your definition of space.) have allegedly been in "space", not 250.

The Earth is flat. I received a Nobel Prize for showing the undiscovered optic property that leads to the sun never appearing smaller as it moves away.

Earth is a globe and there's over 12 million scientists in the world that know it, as well as 23 billion people and only 36 people who believe in a flat Earth. What more proof do you frigging need.

We have had many paintings from space that clearly show a spinning globe. We have one picture from Apollo 800 which was the first space ship ever to orbit all planets in the solar system before taking pictures of them all by sending out small nano probes equipped with nano cameras that sent all film back to Earth inside small closed spheres which were picked up from the marianas trench after landing in the ocean.

What more proof does anyone need that we live on a big spinning globe that keeps all oceans firmly glued to it.

I know the earth is flat because I have a feeling it is. This trumps all of science.
