Why believe in a flat earth?
« on: February 11, 2015, 08:16:55 PM »
Hi,

I'm just interested to know why people believe in a flat earth, when surrounded with so much evidence for a spherical one. There's probably more options than 5 so please state your below, if you have other reasons.

I would appreciate round earth people being quiet, in this thread. I do not want this to descend into the usual personal attacks and grammar jibes. If you wish to question someone on a reason, or me about this poll, start a new thread. I'd also appreciate just straight reasons with no follow up comments from others like "yeah your so right" etc etc.

Thanks.

This is not your prerogative.

There is nothing in the forum rules that prevents any/all round earthers from commenting in any/all threads.

danger2007 made a simple request in a thread that he/she started.  While you are not obliged to honor this request, I would think that most people here would do so, seeing as it is not an unreasonable request.  The request was simply not to let this discussion get derailed into a debate.

I voted other. I found the arguments for a flat-earth to be more sound than the ones for a round-earth.

I like this information, this will come up in debates. Heeding the OP's wishes, I will make my own thread for this.
I am the worst moderator ever.

Sometimes I wonder: "Why am  I on this site?"
Then I look at threads about clouds not existing and I go back to posting and lurking. Lurk moar.
