Time is man made. Time is merely a measurement of how we run our lives by regimented means. It's a nothing, other than that.
There is no such thing as time. There is no future and no past. Just the very present you exist in.
Obviously you are unaware of what I mean, let me clarify. Time corresponds with the reflection and refraction of light. Clearly the sun exists, we can see it, so it casts light among our planet. If our Earth was flat, it would remain day time everywhere on the Earth, which is CLEARLY not the case. I apologize if I ruined all of your beliefs, however you simply CANNOT respond with a probable and suitable answer.
Time does not correspond with reflection and refraction. Time does not exist.
It's why you can't go back or forwards in what people assume is time. Time is simply a read out of numbers in various forms.
What is, is now. There is no yesterday and there is no tomorrow. There is just the very consciousness you are in at your given moment - each moment you are in it.
Your following of a light source is totally dependent on the ability of your sensors.
You place far too much faith in how good they are.
There's a reason why we sleep at night. It because our sensors are crap at night. Other creatures come alive at night, because their sensors are geared for that.
The thing is, what is the sun to them? what is light to them?
It's all about wavelengths.
Now thinking about this, you can appreciate that the bright dot in the sky against a huge expanse of Earth will act like a moving radar screen, meaning its wavelengths will move away from your sensors until you see no more wavelengths that excite them, leaving only the wavelengths that your primitive eyes cannot see, yet other creatures eyes, can.
Now if you want to believe that your sunlight is a huge glowing ball of fire in a vacuum, then go right ahead. This belief requires no more thought from you and the belief becomes easier for you the more you regurgitate it, just like an exciting film that is watched over and over again gives you the ability to predict even the smallest happenings in that film, which makes you know more than the person who has just decided to watch it for the first time.
It's not that it makes you smart. It just makes you remember the scenes because you allowed yourself to sit through it, over and over again.
You see (changing thoughts a little) understanding what is happening in your mind can be no more than your ability to accept seeing something over and over again and regurgitating it.
To the person who's never looked into it, it can appear like you are one smart cookie of such scientific level that it would be futile to argue it.
A supposed slow person may not grasp a concept in class, whereas a so called smarter person, will. The supposed slow person is categorised into a lower group of equal minded people and the concepts they were shown are disregarded for something much simpler...
Does this make a person dumb?
No it doesn't. Because if you taught this person that very same concept, over time until the penny dropped and they finally understand it, all that has happened is that person has a slower absorbtion rate for that particular concept.
The very same person could potentially rig up a complex piece of machinery that would have the smart person standing there open mouthed and confused. You see, some people are born to use their own minds in a more logical way to the mind that the tutor wishes to instill into them.
This usually gains a tag of ADHD or some other form.
It's about the right mind in the wrong environment and you get categorised for it.
It's like a driving test. Does a person who passes it frst time get to call themselves an expert and better driver than someone who took 10 goes to pass?
The answer is no.
So what am I getting at here?
It's simple.
Just because you can't accept that people cannot or will not grasp your idea that your sun would envelope a flat Earth, even though you try to come across as being smart due to belief in the globe on a platter, does not mean that the sun what you believe it to be, by seemingly grasping the explanation for it.
Any other logical explanation will never fit for you, because your mind is trained on one target which your scope is constantly aimed at.
Just merely moving that scope slightly to the left, right, up or down, can open up many other targets for you to shoot at.
The problem is, you have a fear of getting into trouble if you dare to look at other targets, so it's easier to play it safe.
