Side note about fluoride: it can incorporate itself into tooth enamel hydroxyapatite crystals to make the tooth more resilient. This can be seen with a simple polarized scope. I do believe we are straying a bit though

Because for the term cause to be used in any medical or scientific study there  has to be 50% or higher demonstrated incidence. Smoking only accounts for 2%. WHO figures. anti smoking lobby is a billion dollar a year industry funded by tobacco tax.  Governments preach smoking as deadly to raise taxes. Pharmaceutical company are laughing all the way to the bank with sales of antidepressants, which are just as addictive only there  worse for your health & well being . There are more people popping pill now then ever before. in fact any decline in smoking sees a rise in antidepressant drug sales . Where as before if persons felt anxiety. They would simply light a smoke which helped address the anxiousness.
Radon gas  inhaling asbestos. Can be said to cause  lung cancer proven well over 50%. Smoking can only be said scientific or medically to only be a contributing factor. It suits mining Corporations & those who manufactured  products containing deadly asbestos to have the tobacco industry take the blame & Smokers to fund the health service. & not those corporations responsible.
Is smoking good for you NO! of corse not. However  you really have to question the anti smoking lobby's motives &   philosophy. Lets make those who smoke  & enjoy to, life miserable so they can live longer become old & demented. Spending their remaining years lingering on in nursing homes having to be cared for .

Charles what is interesting is I met an old man a few years ago smoking a Cuban. He explained to me if he smokes a cigar a day he does not need any medication for his auto immune condition. He said the tobacco helps, but be aware of the cigarette butts they are made of fibreglass fibre.
I did wonder why they do not make the filter out of paper.

Lets cut out the bull shit with the fluoride. Fact smelting of aluminium would be non viable if it had to pay for the disposal of its toxic by-product sodium fluoride. Putting it in the water supply is just criminal, corporate reckless  greed.

The fluoride produced from aluminium smelting is not used for water and/or toothpaste fluoridation.  This nonsensical claim is just one of many made by the conspiracy theorists such as Charles who—put simply—believe that the entire world, the government, big pharma, the corporatists, the bankers, the oil companies etc are all out "to get them"... which of course is laughable in the extreme.

No way! Flouride is total bullshit! You can find absolute documented evidence that fluoride is a bi product of the aluminum industry and they dumped it in the US water supply as a means to dispose of it. Look it up. You can find the info. The tests done on teeth were calcium fluoride not sodium fluoride by the sodium fluoride is what is used. Your toothpaste says call poison control is swallowed yet they dump it in the water supply. I have not 1 cavity, and I have not used toothpaste with fluoride in over 20 years. Besides a few exceptions when I ran out of no fluoride toothpaste.

Interesting that the Prozac drug, Fluoxetin, has a similar molecular structure. But it may not be similar enough to matter or mean anything. But just interesting to note.

Hmm, I thought Prozac contained contains Flourine and Chloride. But anyway, you can read about how fluoride is a biproduct of  the aluminum industry how and why the US dumps it in the water supply. I have a book here that talks about it. I am not saying it is the only reason, but go check it out.

Show me proof that dental caries is the #1 disease in the world, #1 cause of fatality in the world, and that fluoride in the water supply will cure this.
