Wozniacki's impression of Serena Williams

As you may or may not be aware there has been a fuss kicked up over the recent impression of Serena Williams by Caroline Wozniacki.

With the point being raised that

“This is an old racist trope about our supposed hypersexuality and sexual abnormality,” commented Twitter user @hazzarDeuce on the Black Voices Twitter page.


So my question is this, is the claim that Black Women are steriotyped as hypersexual valid in the age of internet pornography where the vast majority of female performers are White?

Surely this would be indiciative of a steriotype that White women are hypersexual?

No.

It didn't cross my mind that the impression had anything to do with her being black or hypersexual. This seems to me to be an overreaction by someone that tries to see everything anyone ever does as a slight against black people. People like this are a big obstacle in trying to accomplish a time where no one gives a shit about the color of your skin (as it should be)

Is it not racism on the part of the people complaining about that impression to presume that that is what all black women look like?

I fail to see how it's racist unless you already have a stereotypical view of black women.
