That's probably because we covered this exact same thing a week ago.

I love it how RE people think they're first person to come up with any particular idea.

Why haven't any of you fucktards tried this yet?  If you want to prove you're right, this should be the easiest way, eh?

Slap some cameras and video cameras on your own balloon and send that fucker up.  Prove the entire world wrong.

Oh wait, you won't.  We all know why.

We dont HAVE to prove we're right.  You're the one barging in here with your radical "round Earth" nonsense.

The burden of proof is on you.

Do you see what you are doing here????

FE: "We believe the earth is flat."
RE: "Hahaha morons, look at all these pictures, the earth is round.
FE: "It's not!!!! The pictures are fake and you are in a conspiracy."
RE: "Fair enough, then let a hot air balloon rise and make pictures of a flat earth."
FE: "No, we have nothing to prove for it's a fact."

My question: if you are so sure about it and you seem quite eager to share your so called "truth", then prove it by sending a balloon up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you the one coming to the Flat Earth Society forums and trying to force your beliefs on us?

We aren't going to Round Earth forums and trying to convince RE'ers the earth is flat.

If you've got questions about the FE model, we'll be happy to answer them to the best of our knowlede. We're glad to defend the validity of our model, but we could care less what you think.

What was unsatisfactory? The results of that experiment were faked / altered in some way.

What else do you want to know?

I could say the same thing about all of Rowbotham's (sp) experiments, would you be satisfied? No, you'd want some sort of reasoning.

The photos were taken by a couple of students. To suggest the students were in on the conspiracy, to suggest that the government subverted them, etc. etc. That's all REALLY absurd. Like, just ridiculous.

Aren't you, though? I'm assuming you don't believe Rowbotham's experiments, since you think the earth is round. Is there a reason you can dismiss those results out of hand, but I'm not allowed to assume photographic evidence is fake?

Well, I'm not going to read his entire book and analyze it for flaws, just like I wouldn't expect you to carefully read Newton, Gallileo, Copirnicus, etc. But if you wanted to take a particular experiment/whatever from his book that you find intriguing and make a thread about it, I'd try to do more than say "he's obviously wrong, because the earth is round! he probably faked it!"
