Sorry, magnetism is a force I have actually witnessed the effects of first hand, unlike your "gravity" voodoo.

The gravity theory can be proven with a telescope. It has nothing to do with "vodoo", nor ignorance (like FE science).

Oh, dear. Well, for instance, you can observe objects being drawn towards larger objects (like meteors to planets, or moons rotating around other planets), which pretty much covers the gravity theory. You can observe objects, like comets, going in a certain direction, then slightly shifting their route as they close up on things, like planets, in space.

Or maybe they're magnets that turn negative everytime they come close Ò_o

Wait, are you saying you've never witnessed gravity firsthand?  So like... where you live, everything floats?  Cool.

I was obviously refering to Newton's definition of gravity, not Einstein's. The force, not the acceleration. Unfortunately both concepts share the same word.

I've never seen an example of mass attracting other mass, whereas I see magnets being used every day.

It wouldn't be necessary to change polarity.

Sure. And because "gravity" doesn't explain why the universe is the way it is, we'll just make up some invisible mass that covers most of the universe to explain things.

So I saw a car going in a certain direction today and then it slightly shifted it's route as it went near a truck. Gravity? No.

You've observed something and then made this wild assumption about what caused it. It doesn't make it right though.

It's quite interesting that you always seem to compare objects from space with man-made things. Like planets with basketballs, or comets with cars.

LoL. The car you saw was maneuvered by an inteligent lifeform. Comets aren't driven by inteligent lifeforms, nor are they even capable of making a sudden turn in the manner that they are, without taking gravity into consideration.

Apart from that, the fact that objects are "making turns" close to larger objects, everytime in the same manner, adds to nothing else but the theory of gravity. I am certain any other idea would appear rather unrational in comparison, but feel free to once again enlighten me with FE logics.

I'd have to know which definition of gravity you're using here.
If you're talking about Einstein's definition, then sure, you've witnessed gravity. Gravity caused by the constant acceleration of the earth, and the absolute absence of any force which attracts mass to other mass, but still defined as gravity.

If you're talking about newtonian gravity, then I say: "No, you've witness inertia."

The earth didn't pull the apple down, the apple just ceased to accelerate, and the earth caught up.

This is a sad sad case, it can only be down to early childhood distress or tourment which has led to this unfortunate nonsense. My deepest sympathy is with those who actually beleive the world is flat...my nan is the tooth fairy and my grandad's best bud is bill clinton.

What is the driving force for people to be so insecure that they actually beleive even the earth itself is out to get them, is this a society for the disturbed and lonely?! Surely this is a cry for help from some of you! Have you not heard of plate tectonics? if the world is flat then 'why on earth' (like that pun normal peeps?   ) would there be such things as earth qukes. The government have nothing to gain by claiming the world is round, infact when the theory was proved ridiculous people probably didnt want to accept that they had been so wrong for so long......just look at the moon! Its so round its untrue! please seek help if you are a serious member of this site, help is out there. You just have to look for it.

I am deeply sorry for any feelings i may have hurt here but its time to face the music and, the facts. Stop wasting your time with this site, put more effort into making friends and finding member of the opposite sex. I can guide those of you for which there is hope, this who refuse to accept there talking nonsense then you can ruin your own lives....remember only you can change your destiny. The truth is out there, go find it.

I see, so all the other planets are accelerating towards Earth? Well, since they're flat, and obviously have got to accelerate in a forward motion for metors and other objects to fall down on them, causing the same kind of gravitation as the on on flat earth.. I wonder how they've never gotten any closer to Earth, then.

Well, not according to the FE theory as far as I can tell.  However, although the mass emails regarding mars coming closer to the earth in 2005 or '06 are hoaxes, Mars did come within 34.65 million miles of our orbit in 2003, which is the closest they have in something like 50,000 years.  The orbital paths of the planets are not actual circles, and are more ovoid, so the planets do often come closer also further away.

Thank you for filling me in, but maybe you missed my point?  :?
If the only type of gravity is that caused by flat objects accelerating in a forward direction, and since all other flat planets are facing the earth, they'd have to travel towards earth in order for other objects to change their motion and crash into their surfaces (I take it no one here will despute the fact that objects are crashing into other planets, such as meteors).

Sum: If other planets are facing us and accelerating in a forward direction to cause the gravity we can witness at any time, they oughta come closer to the Earth all the time. Why aren't they?

It helps to explain the amount of movement evident in a children be ween the time you press the button, the shutter closes, and the picture actually forms, as well ad the bland two dimensional space that mirrors our own, that is shown on Polaroid Instant cameras.
