There is a base at the South Pole. Where is this located on the FE map?

That's an RE version of Antarctica. I figured it would be fine for what I needed, as it's kinda hard to find an FE map with the South Pole on it, and I didn't want to make one.

Ouch.  ;D

From what I said, I figured you could visualize it yourself. Clearly I was wrong. Imagine a circle whose diameter is a bit shorter than the distance between the 1 and the 4, and between the two. That's the wall.

I can't visualise that. Could you draw it on the Flat Earth map for me please?

People going to the base take the shortest possible route. The base is close to the ice wall.

Is it just me, or does this look like a depiction of Antarctica on the round rather than flat map? Can Tausami explain where the ice wall is in that picture? And what are the numbered dots?

What do you mean by "make one"?

Im curious what your method of cartography is.

I answered the question that you asked. I apologise if this offends you; perhaps you should refrain from asking questions in the future.

Cool story Bro.
Gather round my gentle sheep, I have a wonderful spherical story for you

There is also an East and West Pole but people don't like to talk about it.

i don't see that as an answer. Or even in the right direction.

That is how Antarctica looks, flat Earth or round.

He's obviously talking about the Cambridge model or some other model where Antarctica is regarded as the ice wall. I'm tired of people solving problems in FE theory by just mentioning a different model every time a problem is brought up.

Tom Bishop disproved that model, though. There's a thread about it.

Good for him, but my point is that this is just one more reason why the other model is better.

There is no south polar base.

It's a lie stated by governments to make you continue in believing in RET.

All the pictures and footages were done in studios and then cheated with computers.

If there was a south polar base, then it would give credit to round earth theory.

No such thing is possible, so it is obviously lies, lies and more lies.

That's why we are here to debunk all the mystification done since the past centuries.

You think there is a south polar base?

Prove it. Go there, and bring us facts.

All I see as evidences are claims and very badly cheated pictures...

Agnostic is just a noob. Don't listen to him. I don't have a map for you because I suck at photoshop, but I'll say it again: the south pole on RE is not located on the edge. Those who go to it for research purposes take a route which does not lead them to the edge. This is fairly simple.

Hey, I am trying to learn, be more respectful, thanx.

If people don't go the right way, and if they do not end in their real "south" then saying that there is no south polar base is okay with your statement, so I was not wrong.

Yes, I dearly wish there was one map agreed upon by FE proponents. It seems to me that the creation of an accurate chart of one's observed surroundings as one explores encapsulates the very epitome of zetecism. And it would make the advancement of FE theory and the rebuttal of many RE objections vastly less troublesome.

I know surveying and cartography is an expensive business, but surely there's a vast amount of fame and fortune awaiting any individual or organisation who accurately depicts the world for the first time? Especially if it's extremely different from the way most people currently perceive it? The very fact this site is allowed to exist indicates to me that those beastly swines at NASA wouldn't begrudge the citizens of Earth having a good look round their own planet.

OK, now the FE side have admitted they have a "proper map" I'd like somebody to mark the position of the South Polar Base on it please.

I never occured to me that it would be so complicated to produce a single map of the FE with a sufficent level of accuracy in the distances.

So far RE = 1, FE = 0

Is this a joke? I mean seriously? Not only is that map so inaccurate and inconsistent with reality as to be laughable to a 10 year old, but you have just marked a random point on your imaginary ice wall area and said that its the south polar base.

If you are joking, that's just fine and is actually pretty funny. If you're serious, then wow. Seriously, wow. That is all.

That's not a random point. I took some measurements and did some math, and that's the spot I came up with.

Ooh, you've just piqued my curiosity. What did you measure and what maths made you pick this arbitrary spot on a bad map?

That spot cannot be the correct location as it's possible to travel further south (towards the rim) from there.
