You can circumnavigate the flat earth, lurk moar please.

Only in an East West direction - north south circumnavigation is quite more difficult on a FE than on an RE.

That wasn't his question.

The lines appear to be curved in both scenarios.

Dude are you having fun of me or what? I don't want to think you are talking seriously. Well if you are talking seriously that would explain a lot of your belief. But I'd rather think you are kidding me.

I'll re-phrase: the lines actually are curved in both scenarios.

Damn it. Ok i'll explain it just for you. Both lines are curved, yes. But in the case of the disk the plane will curve, while in the case of the sphere the plane won't curve to travel those lines. Got it now? Decent answer only please.

If the plane didn't curve, it would fly off into space.

Omg you are seriously kidding me or what? Of course it curves in a VERTICAL way since the earth's gravity etc etc.  I'm talking about curving right and left ways. I see you can't explain this so you come up with no sense answers... Perfect i take it as a victory =)

Make up your mind guys and deal with the fact that the Earth is round.

Please realize that you are arguing against both Round and Flat earth advocates here.  On a sphere, the only line of latitude that is straight is the equator, those above the equator curve north relative to the surface, and those south of the equator curve south.  Because the ground is not parallel to the earth's axis at these areas, the lines of latitude do not appear straight when viewing the ground straight on.  Perform this experiment:  look at any line of latitude other than the equator directly out from the surface of your globe, it will appear curved.

Hi Shinj.

Thank you for that post. I enjoy watching Youtube videos.

Unfortunately, in the video that you posted, there is nothing that looks even remotely globe-shaped or spherical.

Mizuki x

"Earth is a maximal sphere in a cyclical space and its surface therefore a total plane, the equator plane of the Cosmos. The (total) plane, as well as the straight line and space as a whole, is flat, without curvature yet closed, running back on itself."

Being the diligent lurker that I'm sure you are, I'm sure you know that videos like this are posted all the time. You're going to have to provide something more substantial. What makes you think you're seeing a globe and not the illuminated portion of a disk?

More substantial than video perfectly showing ocean pacific and you can't see the atlantic one since it is on the other side of the globe...?

Or since the illuminated portion of the disk doesn't contain the atlantic side.

You need to think your aguments through a little better.  Better arguments would be:
"Why aren't the edges of the disc fuzzy?  The night-day terminator isn't a sharp line"
or
"the visible disc is too small to be the illuminated portion of the flat earth" then show math proving why.

and then when you're done the flat earther's will just say it was all faked.

Whatever the source of the video, at 7:49 you can see what looks like an ice wall as seen on some FE maps.

No, sorry, 'west' and 'est' aren't like 'left' and 'rght'

Shinj, before you go trying to disprove a Flat Earth, I suggest you go learn more about Round Earth.
The entire universe is flat. The three dimensions are simply a perspective effect

How about the cartographic south pole?  Wouldn't that have the same effect as Harutsedo is explaining with the now editited cartographic north pole?

On a RE model and some (but not all) FE models, yes.
I'm going to side with the white supremacists.

Amazing video to see, but if you want the direct facts go to 7:40.

Earth's round shape shown at his best. Undeniable.

Of course now, some blind stubborn FES will desperately say that this is no evidence...

"ooh oooh all i see is a disk hurr durr thus da earth is flat"

I just hope some of them open their eyes.

Enjoy.

People post videos like these everyday in an attempt to enlighten the close-minded flat earthers. You need to seriously Lurk Moar...
