Personally I don't... I'm a Round Earther. But what about you guys? Will the "conspiracy" ever "slip out"?

If it ever did, scientists around the globe will feel the heat. How could they possibly not have noticed it after all these years, all these centuries...?
Personally, I feel humanity would be lost by that point. Science wouldn't deserve to be funded. It would be an utter joke and the biggest slap in the face ever.

It's as though a scientist that has their work which revolves around the shape of the Earth can be scammed 10x over in exactly the same way, each time not learning from his past. But then it's not just him, but many thousands of scientists. Smart guys being the biggest idiots ever.

If it hit the news however, I wouldn't believe it until I heard a SHIT LOAD of proof and would need to be told exactly how every last law and theory in science has been wrong and what laws really govern our universe - else I wouldn't believe it in the slightest.

Eventually of course it would be revealed.  Those perpetuating the scam cannot do it forever.   I surmise many of them feel a moral obligation(in a sick sort of sense) as well as a financial incentive.

I do not agree.  I think that eventually the truth would surface.  Those who perpetuate lies often suspect they can continue their deceptive ways without consequence.  Eventually what is currently considered advanced technology will be available to average citizens, as the trend has been since antiquity.  Only if a world government which exerted great control over these means could it continue in perpetuity.

You must be pretty bored yourslef to be debating with people who think the earth is flat.  Especially when you and so many others can debunk the theories so easily.

Nonsense. This advanced technology is already avaiable to us, but FE'ers just shrug it off. Basically all navigational devices are apparently a part of "the conspiracy".
Do you really think an FE believer that spent his whole life arguing its points and going through constant ridicule (on the forums at least, I doubt they make their beliefs known in the real world) will change their mind as soon as they too can fly up into space? They'll just use another excuse such as it's an illusion or a computer simulation or something. There is always a way around any observation - you just need a stretch of the imagination to find it. Tom does it every day.

Such is the terrible desperation of the RE'ers that they scramble like starving vultures over the slightest typing gaffe, desperately claiming it as a 'victory'. They can't beat FET, so instead they try to drown out the FE'ers with their inane nitpicking. Will they ever see sense?
