I may buy a brown one, though it is XL, so it may be too big for me.  :P

It is not cold where you are! Its freaking tropical! You should get an FES tattoo so as when you are strolling around semi-naked due to the burning winter sun, people can see that. A hoodie in Arizona is like giving a bikini to an Eskimo!

Well remember when you are shivering on Wednesday with your 15 degrees, the UK is set for -10! 25 degrees colder. Just think of us poor Brits. That is the day I will post likely stop posting as my nation goes into its annual hibernation. We wake up around March.

Although I would agree that Arizona is not cold, it certainly could not be described as tropical.Tropics involve humidity, and Arizona is like a feckin' desert.

You are correct. The residents have a hump, and I'll wager EG has a backside like a cactus.

Maybe it is the 120F (49C) summers that have skewed my temperature tolerance.

Luckily, I have been exposed to both extremes. Hot as hell >100F summers in Georgia as well as fuckin' cold one-digit winters in Colorado. Funny tidbit: I had only seen snow once prior to the move.

Not a great pic, but I took it on my phone. Sorry if it's huge. Also, this one is well-worn.

Georgia also has humidity which makes it far worse. Arizona has like 10% at best so it is a pretty dry heat. Imagine the heat that comes from an oven.

Yeah, the humidity was quite a change as well. I'll step off of the airplane when I visit and it'll almost be like a wall of moistness. And some mornings here I'll wake up with dry flakes of skin on my face. It's pretty gross.

Also, to comment upon the original topic, why is the FES store all closed and shit?! I've been wanting something but haven't had any monies :(

I've only ever been around humid heat. Our solar car team races in Dallas, TX, and it is absolute hell to stand around all day in the July heat. Ugh.

Dry heat is a completely different feeling. I couldn't stand being in the midwest and dealing with the humidity. I could literally feel the moisture on my skin and in my breath. I felt disgusting. The best comparison for dry heat is to open your oven and feel that heat.

I remember when I lived in Florida it felt cold when the temperature got in the 50s.

Both my hoodie, as well as the hoodies I made some kids on my debate team buy, are all falling apart at the seams. So either they are not so great quality, or we are all just way too fat for our hoodies. At this point, mine is missing a sleeve. I only got to wear it for a month. :(
