Volcano in Iceland proves Earth is flat.

What happened in Europe after Eyjafjallajökull erupted?  Did the reaction match a spherical planet theory and simply route planes around the eruption?  No, they were grounded.  There is no way around the volcanic ash because the Earth is flat.

So volcanic ash hovering in the atmosphere over an entire continent causes planes to be grounded, and the Earth is therefore flat?

Sweet.

Eyjafjallajökull doesn't even exist.

I feel as though reading this has actually killed some of my brain cells.

If the earth was round, the planes could just fly in the opposite direction and end up at their original destination.
It sounds crazy because it is.  That's RE for you.

Sure, but using a whole lot more fuel and time.  Not to mention the fact that most of those flights probably began and/or ended within the ash cloud.

So how would this be different in FE?

Lol.  The planes would first have to take off in the ash, then fly around the entire planet wasting time, money and resources, then land inside the ash cloud (if it was flying somewhere in Europe).
