I think you guys should add somewhere that since this is your site that the burden of proof is on those trying to proove that the earth is spherical.  And just lock anythread that goes like "the earth is round proove me wrong"  After being on here for only two days I already see how annoying it is to get thsoe threads/responces, it must be very annoying for those of you who have seen it 1000's of times.

I've always wondered why you guys aren't more ban happy?

The staff is very conservative with banning certain members.  This forum tries to promote free thinking regardless of intelligence or debate skills so long as those members follow the rules.

I believe this is a rare case in which a forum would be better touched rarely (as far as banning).  The moderators have it a bit rough, however.  There are constantly posts in the wrong sections.

Perhaps more strict rulings should be done for this.

I like the moderators in this forum, they are not too strict, and they are very good at moving the misrepresented threads, i.e. YOU GUYS BLOWZORS!!! in GD gets either deleted or moved to where it is wanted.

first of all, since the number of FEers compared to REers is not only blown out of proportion in favor of RE on this site, but in society in general, it is your duty to prove to us the earth is flat.i would think that a forum that contradicts literally everyones beliefs would try to convert the masses to his/her way of thinking.but i guess i was wrong.besides they are several topics which absolutely obliterate FE theory."the problem with lunar eclipses"(now bumped to the front of the page).the legendary "i see a sattelite"s RoundEarth FAQ. there arguments destroy your way of thinking to the point where its funny.yet you ingnore so ingnorantly.i wonder why?

Because it's what they believe. Just like if you were jewish living in a majority christian neighborhood. Are you going to change just because that's what everyone else believes?

but they are demanding a post that would convert them to REism.read the initial post.what im saying is that theyre several topics that blow FE theory out of the water.yet they demand them like they never existed.im also saying that since theyre beliefs contradict societys, they would try to do something about that.supposed you were Muslim living in a Christian neighborhood.wouldnt you want to do something about that(not blowing the church up,of course)?

but THEY are the ones demanding proof.they belive the burden of proof is on RE even though there beliefs contradict everyone elses.there is also several topics that pwn FE.thats all.did you even read my original and second post fully.you are picking and choosing what to debate when not confronting something you know im right about.and why are you playing devils advocate? pick a side, dude.also, this is a forum.forums are meant for debating.if you respect other peoples beliefs so much that you wouldnt even debate them and express yourself, theres no reason for you to be on the forum,no offense.

I'm on the RE side. But the diescussions have been had so many times it gets annoying. Really, Re and FE don't have any mind-blowing proof. Whatever FE posts can be disproved by RE, Whtever RE posts can be explained by FE. There is no definate proof on either side.

And even if there is definate proof do you think they'll just convert like that?

Okey there's reasonable proof. I guess the earth is round."

No. They'll still try and find a way out of it. That's what both sides are doing. It's just a huge, pointless arguement over nothing basically. If they defend their beliefs this hard, I see no point in trying to change their minds.

yet they demand that the burden of proof be on REers,so they can be converted.then when proof comes theyll either ignore it or debate over something entirely different.if this is a place of backslashing and bickering (which it is increasingly becoming)then i made a mistake coming here.i came here to hone debate skills, defend my views friendly of course, and learn something about a group of people that contradict what society(and at times common sense) tells them.i have still not done the last part.im guessing theyre are people who want to learn who come here and theyre people who come here to insult others.and the latter is taking over.
