Take all the altitudes on earth.  Average them.

We see its either flat or round.  The argument is silly.

It's not anecdotal.

Along with "the burden of proof is only on RE'ers", it something that marks FET as a pseudo-scientific.  If I was paranoid I'd say the window test was deliberately invented by someone who should know better to prey of people who don't know any better.
