What research.

The quotes have been posted, and they are fairly clear.

If you are sure that they mean something other than what they say, show us how you came to this conclusion.

Aren't some of those from the Old Testament and therefore not applicable to Christianity?

Also, you will note, that if you interpret that to mean the Bible says the earth is flat, it also must be interpreted to say the flat earth is square or rectangular. If you accept it as a statement of flatness you must accept it as a statement of non-circularity.

The mis-translation many years ago translated Mary to be a virgin. The actual translation should be young girl.

Joseph was a child raping paedophile, Jesus the result of child rape.

No-one said it wasn't consensual. I mean, it was only a couple hundred years ago people were having babies at age 14-16. Well, they still are, but it was expected and encouraged then.

Age of consent in the Vatican is 12 now.  Still this is the sort of perversion we expect from Christians.

You're avoiding the question. Do you believe that the Bible should be interpreted literally? I had assumed that that was your belief, but I may be wrong.

Personally, I believe that the bible is the spiritual truth, not necessarily the literal (or scientific) truth.  But that's just me.

The bible is a book of faith written by believers for believers.  I don't believe that it was ever intended to be a comprehensive scientific text.

Agreed.

Keep in mind that out of the countless religions that exist in the world, Buddhism, Islam, Shintoism, Hinduism, Taoism, Confucianism, etc, Christianity is the only religion that interpret the world as flat.

Please keep in mind that however you would like to interpret obvious metaphors to suit your own arguments, the official position of the Church has been that the Earth is round since the very beginning.
