I never had proper lego sets, I just had a boxful of bricks with some wheels chucked in. And Duplo. But for some reason there's a lego set in my apartment right now (someone left here) maybe I should play with it.

Lego is actually a biological organism, it seems to breed and multiply and it is aggressive to those who enter it's territory (You'll know especially if you've ever stood on one of the 4-bubbled square pieces)

Same here.  I just threw all my lego into a huge box.

Here is a picture, with a 4×2 lego brick for size comparison.

I may get slated here, but i dont think this is lego. It already has preformed pieces designed for one specific thing.

Lego is a box of rectangles and a some wheels and figuring our you have built a house on wheels that can fly.

Im only allowed lego as i pass it of as my sons interest. Bit like scalectrix and mecano. Of wht a toy that way.
Stop all this nonesense and bring on the lapdancers.
I understand Jack1704. It's a Brit thing.

I agree, I'm not a fan of too many pre-formed shapes in a lego set!

When I first joined the forum Kasroa was 'Kasroa Is Gone' but he was still an active user.

I had a Harry Potter lego set, two actually, but I lost a bunch of pieces and I think my mum might have thrown the rest out while cleaning the basement a few years ago. I need to buy more legos.

I'm a lego fan. The lego train was bad ass. I also liked those large legoboards. I would build cities and stuff. *memories*

This. Add in some Playmobile, and that was basically my childhood.

Didn't have Playmobile (that I remember anyways) but add in toy cars (on a mat with the roads and stuff) and toy soldiers. And a wooden train set.

I mostly did LEGOs and Matchbox/Hot Wheels/Maisto cars.  And Micromachines.  I didn't really regularly play with anything else.

Until I got my first computer, which I played Epic Pinball and Rise of the Triad all the time.

I have a bitchload of Legos.

And by bitchload I mean that if you were to slice a bitch into pieces, she'd fill my Lego boxes with ease.

I think I have two bitchloads, actually.

I retired my lego collection to my younger brother who is 10 years younger than me. They are still in use today. If I was that young and suddenly inherited childhood's collection of legos at once, my heart would've stopped beating.

You should have given them to me instead.

So, did no one have Ramagon? I had two Very Big Builder sets of the stuff. I built space station like stuff all the time which we could use our shitloads of legos inside of. It was also pretty funny because it was self-containing. I just built a big box out of the ones I werent using and stored them all in there. I once made something which resembled a chopped up sphere also, to store them in. It broke and shit was everywhere.
Here's an explanation for ya. Lurk moar. Every single point you brought up has been posted, reposted, debated and debunked. There is a search function on this forum, and it is very easy to use.
