Questions like this lead down a slippery path. The OP does not define what a 'soul' is. This means everyone will argue what they think a soul is and other people will think that that person is using the same definition as them. It will soon be depleted of anything useful if we don't accept one concept of the soul for the sake of argument. The argument with out doing so will turn into more of a question of what is the soul rather than do Siamese twins have one or two souls.
Think hard. Think Flat.

Separate consciousness implies a separate soul, I'd imagine.

My answer is what's said above ^^

What if one of them is gay?

Do they both go to hell?

Since they share the same body, would they both feel the same amount of love and enjoyment from sexual contact with the partner?

Being gay isn't a choice. Why would you go to hell for something you didn't have any say in?

It would be like sending someone to hell for being black, or for being born to someone who did something wrong.

Unless you're just trolling.

Many psychologists believe that pedophilia is "natural". Should we also let pedophiles molest children, just because they lack the fortitude to resist obviously impure actions?

Trust me she had a choice she just didn't want to believe that....though I am sorry she was homeless at 15, that's horrible...being homeless shouldn't happen to anybody...it doesn't change the fact that "being gay is in your genes" is just a theory...

I don't know if it's environmental, genetic, or a combination of both, but I know it's not a choice. If it were, why would there be so many gay people? And even if it were a choice, what would be wrong with choosing it? How would that be bad? "Because the bible says so?"

Many psychologists believe that pedophilia is "natural". Should we also let pedophiles molest children, just because they lack the fortitude to resist obviously impure actions?

Many psychologists believe that heterosexuality is "natural". Should we also let straight men rape women, just because they lack the fortitude to resist obviously impure actions?

That's not nice. Why would you say such a mean thing? That really hurts coming from you, Christianrocker.  :'(

for defending two wrongs...

How is homosexuality wrong? Something is only wrong if it causes some sort of harm. Two people of the same gender having a relationship hurts no one.

Also, what exactly was the other wrong I defended?

There is no soul. But there is consciousness. And they have two.

Seems a little hard to comprehend. How do they do stuff? Who decides what the body does?

You are an idiot for defending two wrongs...

And you're an idiot for thinking God would create someone and make them repent because he created them that way. Not very sound logic there, broseph.

^ win.

But not from the religious point of view, as the need for 'faith' automatically means that they can ignore logic when it suits them.

Faith by definition, means being stubborn in a belief by ignoring evidence.
...I have no idea how people managed to pull off a positive outlook on that.
If I was asked to imagine a perfect deity, I would never invent one that suffers from a multiple personality disorder. Christians get points for originality there.

Well, if a person is gay, and God created him, only conclusion...

Also, could you please explain how being gay is wrong, even if it were a choice?

Wow, CR.....Go read this thread:  http://www.theflatearthsociety.org/forum/index.php?topic=31960.0.

We are currently debating on whether free will is even possible.  Singularity has put forth a good argument for not possible.  If that is so, then it certainly does provide an answer to whether or not we choose to be gay.

Feel free (no pun intended) to come up with an argument that refutes his.  So far his argument stands, therefore, the only logical conclusion is that we have no choice in our sexuality.

How many of those are actually people who are Christians and how many are figures of your imagination....cause if they were actual Christians they would known the bible labels Homosexuality as an abomination...
