Howcome we've never seen 'The Edge'?
« on: June 07, 2009, 04:18:19 AM »
It's possible to any country in the world over any sea, so howcome the so called 'Edge' hasn't been found yet? And how is the curvature of the earth, as seen, filmed, and photographed by pilots explained? Lastly, how do you explain why pilots have to reguarly tip the nose of the aircraft when on long haul flights? And it's NOT because the aircraft is constantly rising.

Interested in the explanations.

Good questions, I look forward to seeing what these muppets come up with in response.

Funny, the people on here can't answer your question so all they do is come up with awful jokes.

I loled.

They say we haven't seen the edge because it's either

A: Guarded
B: Too hard to get too
C: No reason to see it.

How on earth do you guard a 150ft wall?
As for hard to get to, just sail....
And it it's there, it can be seen.
Any evidence for it at all?

No. Absence of evidence is evidence of absence after all.

Sorry to say this but really... just read the FAQ...

Really, the FAQ doesn't provide a great depth of information about anything in particular. It doesn't explain, for example, how you know that the "ice wall" is guarded, considering that no one has ever been there...and lived, dum! dum! dumb!

Antarctica is 'the edge', end of story.

Also, Bono actually calls The Edge 'The Edge' in conversation. As in he'll say "What do you think, The Edge?" or "Come on The Edge, let's go voer here!". Weird.

I love how people always say "Look at the other forums." when they can't think of an answer. Kind of like an "Ask your mother -> Ask your father -> ask your mother" cycle. Maybe flat earth will gain some credence when its theorists actually ANSWER perfectly reasonable questions .

I've never seen The Edge because I'm not a total tool.  But if fans weren't so braindead, I'm sure they'd pipe in.

If you're curious as to what The Edge looks like, though, I can provide.

EDIT:  Ofuk.  I'm slow on the draw.
