ok so how about the atmosphere fellas?
how does it magically sit on top of your little flat disc world?
shouldn't the "ether" be pushing it out of the way as the earth accelerates upwards for no apparent reason?
and you can't say the ice wall is holding it in, it's only about 150 feet tall according to ur site, and its been proven that the atmosphere extends upwards a FAR greater distance than that.

oh and why is the atmospheric pressure relatively equal on average at all parts of the earth?

satellites dont exist eh?
explain the objects floating around in our sky.. a UFO gazing upon us?
isnt a moon a satellite?
and what about all those news articles about all these satellites lifting off and entering space.. its all a fraud? is the crowd paid to be there and observe claiming that this rocket if lifting off and then disappears in the middle of nowhere?
how about all those ppl that live in the nasa satellite up on space? theyre all fake?
jesus

whered u all come from (not you ellis =D).. the bible?
did the scriptures 2000 years back gave u this stupid theory?
are you all forgetting the fact that ure not scientists?
fuck's sake..

why wouldnt objects be able to float about our flat earth?
and the bible is an important source of evidence not to be discredited so lightly kazinha
more than 2 billion people around to world believe in a religion whose teachings come from some part of the bible
i dont think its appropriate to dismiss them so out-of-hand
and no swearing please =)

blahh.. gee get used to modern language thank you =) swear words are now no longer considered a heavy use of language as it was before.. you should start watching some south park to get used to it =D

have you ever touched a cube of ice? notice the way your fingers stick to it? the atmosphere is held in by the ice wall in the exact same way.
ice has scientifically been proven to attract all sorts of materials since the dawn of time
so no magic involved, ellis, just science

oh and why is the atmospheric pressure relatively equal on average at all parts of the earth?

why wouldnt it be? the same amount of air is above every point on our flat earth

the only reason that ur fingers stick to ice is because there is a thin layer of moisture and oils on ur finger, which freezes on contact with the ice, allowing this to form a noticable bond which we interpret as stickiness.  This only works with solid objects, because the moisture and oils freeze in place, sticking to both the ice and our finger.  It can't stick to air, which is a gas.

If the ice walls did in fact hold the atmosphere in place, then there would still not be an even distribution of atmosphere because the ether would be pushing the atmosphere outwards towards the edges, because in order for the flat earth to move through the ether the ether must be pushed out of the way.

it addresses your questions, and ive yet to see you come up with one i cant address
besides you have the burden of proof of proving that the world is round
the sensible mind tells us it is flat as we are all able to stand up all across the world
man knew this in early times before the government began controlling the world and crushing real science

is that now considered an argument? i dont think 'lol' is anything scientific
when youre ready give me some real evidence

can you see this thin layer of moisture or oils?
the only evidence of this so-called "layer" is from microscopes, machines manufactured by the government, and from government sources which are hardly trustworthy
and you have no evidence than ice cannot stick to air
the rational mind knows that it is, just touch a cube of ice

If the ice walls did in fact hold the atmosphere in place, then there would still not be an even distribution of atmosphere because the ether would be pushing the atmosphere outwards towards the edges, because in order for the flat earth to move through the ether the ether must be pushed out of the way.

youve proven my point for me
the "ether" as you call is in fact nothing - no molecules, no atoms, nothing - so air is displaced as it moves
the ice walls simply keep the air above the earth, and distributes itself evenly due to simple displacement

well i can observe it.  If i rub my finger on any glossy surface i can see the oils that my finger leaves behind
the only reason that the frozen moisture sticks to solids is because almost always, solids have very uneven surfaces, and the moisture freezes in exactly the shape of the solid, causing the two to hold together, sort of like how a puzzle piece will hold together with the one next to it.

One of the arguments placed by your forums argues that the round earth cannot exist, because it would have stopped moving by now, due to the effort of pushing through the ether.  The ether is also defined as the substance which light propogates, so by definition it can't be nothing.  Maybe you should try getting your facts right before you place an argument.

not at all
the burden of proof is on you to explain why the world is round when the sensible mind tells us otherwise
my opinions simply explain what we observe in the simplest way (familiar with Ockham's razor?) and thus it is up to you to prove otherwise

this is absurd
puzzle pieces? you are reducing the complexities of physics to a children's game?
i think you need to re-evaluate your position before making outrageous claims

The ether is also "defined" as ... you sound just like the dictionaries the government manufactures and markets to people all around the world ...
and in fact while light can propogate ether, this still does not give it a material presence in the world of physics
perhaps you did not know that, i apologise as true facts are hard to come by in this totalitarian state

cant you all just get your minds straight... your theories are not that simple to literally tell us that the world is flat! there is however too much proof to say that the earth is round.. despite all the travellers, inventors, scientists and what not.. why would you bother fighting over this..

of course regular ice cant stick to a gas but ice wall ice can, being several hundred degrees colder than regular ice.
it has not been studied scientifically as the government prevents access to it

not at all. the ice wall holds the air in due to stickiness however the ice within the walls is evenly distributed due to simple diffusion.

thats just.. lol.

i didnt realise 'lol' constituted an argument nowadays.
then again it is a new government term designed to reduce speech and dumben the mass population.

well you haven't responded to what i said yet, how about you come up with a response for that?  or are you people going to dodge yet another question?

i dodge no questions i am simply busy being a free-thinker.
in fact while i respond to every post made by round-earthists you reply hastily and with no sources cited.

agreed... this is why its making me laugh.. NO ONES GIVING ANYONE AN EXACT ANSWER TO ANY QUESTION!

perhaps this is something youre used to but we flat-earthists give exact answers every time.

Yes, you can see sweat, this is the moisture, and for the oils, you can rub you finger over glass to the them.

If the ice walls did in fact hold the atmosphere in place, then there would still not be an even distribution of atmosphere because the ether would be pushing the atmosphere outwards towards the edges, because in order for the flat earth to move through the ether the ether must be pushed out of the way.

Ok then what about inertia as the only other explanation put forward by FEers for gravity is that we are being accelerated.

Is this ice wall that keeps the atmosphere in a mainstay FET ideology? I believe I've heard other theories about the atmosphere, I think the one I remember the most is Dark engergy is also a factor.

If nobody has been allowed to study the ice wall scientifically, how do you know that it is "several hundred degrees colder" than regular ice?

Several hundred degrees colder than regular ice is colder than absolute zero, a physical impossibilty. But even ignoring your imprecise use of language and assuming that the ice is just at absolute zero, all the principle gases of the atmosphere would freeze to the wall. After not very many years, the greater portion of the atmosphere would be locked up in the ice wall, rendering the Earth incapable of sustaining life.

Please clarify.
