Elephants, FErs, and a Turtle, Oh My!
« on: October 04, 2008, 04:25:43 PM »
Ok, will all due respect to those that subscribe to the FE theory, I would like to pose a few questions. This only applies to those within the FE realm that believe in the 4 elephants and 1 turtle holding up the earth or whatever they are doing. Please base your arguments on reason and logic (logos) and not pathos (emotion).

What are the four elephants and turtle doing under the earth that is accelerating?

What is their origin?

Why, of all animals, would you pick four elephants and one turtle to perform such a function?

How is their existence sustained?

Thanks.

No one believes that. It was put into the FAQ as a joke. We have a sense of humour like everyone else.

Turtle of tremendous girth? I'm still waiting for my queries to be answered in a logical fashion

TheBenCer do you have any proof the earth is round? No emotions.

TheBenCer do you have any proof the earth is round? No emotions.

Your foolishness can be observed in a few ways:
1. Never answer a question with a question, especially when the latter is irrelevant. Don't assume that I am RE.

2. You have obviously missed the key point that arguments are founded on ethos, pathos, and logos. I don't want someone (perhaps like you) to blindly state that there are four elephants and a turtle under a flat earth, with no reason. I would like an intelligent answer, with beliefs as justification, rather than simply emotion.

I am curious to learn to FE mode of thought on such a topic, and you are hindering the process by posing such an irrelevant question.

It seems as though many of you believe in just one turtle, rather than the listed four elephants plus one turtle.

Any reason?

The elephants are immaterial. If we speak of them, why not the bear that has fallen?

All the flat earthers that have posted on here that the turtle thing is a joke aren't telling the truth. They do in fact exist. Also elvis is holding them all up.

Them? There is only one scoldpada.

The Earth is the only place we know of where life exists. Therefore, it is logical that it is resting on living creatures.

Hello. :)

Here at FES, we try to make sense and sound coherent when we post. It may take a bit of effort at first, I know, but you'll get used to it after a while. Just try it a few times and it'll start coming to you more naturally.
