I don't think learning 'move' as such is a good way to learn how to fight and defend yourself. Learning how to condition your body to react without needing to think on the other hand...

Oo I did get to play with knives though when training systema, that is muchos fun.

Well in some martial arts you would look as if you are going to strike high then surprise your opponent and strike low......that philosophy can be applied to your daily life too..not just in your martial arts ;)

Oh no.  We don't get much of that in there.  Alot of defensive stuff.  Getting out of holds, putting holds on people.  Life ending strikes that sort of thing.  

Bayonets are way funner to play with than silly knives Your Gayness.
