Alright I've been reading threads here for way to long now and I've seen plausable theories for both sides. However, one thing I have seen being brought up constantly is the whole "travel in one direction and wind up where you started" thing. Which is a strong argument. If the earth is flat or round then no matter what you go in a big circle.
However, FE's seem to be dodging the fact that if you travel (car, boat, train, etc..) in one direction with out the use of instruments on a flat planet, then the only way to wind up back at the start is to change direction. This would mean, in this case, running into the "ice wall" that wraps the planet to keep everyone here. This means that you would need to see the wall when you make it back to your start point. Either traveling alongside it or over it. (Yes I already realize that in the FE theory that means you die)
So why doesn't anyone encounter the wall when traveling the planet?
