simple breakdown in FE's absurd sun path
« on: August 15, 2008, 09:31:54 AM »
Here's a simple mathematical breakdown of FE's sunlight and path over their Flat Earth.....

the FE model of the sunlight and it's path above the earth fails for the sunrise and sunset times in the southern hemisphere such as South America, Southern Africa, New Zealand, etc.

According to the theory of FE sun's path shown here from this Flat Earth link http://www.sacred-texts.com/earth/za/img/fig62.jpg

The outer edge of the sun's path (near Antarctica) will travel over the earth much faster than the inner edge, obviously, and with the outer edge of the circle covering less area, places like New Zealand will only get about 3 or 4 hours of light according to your FE's sun's path in a 24 hour period.

BUT...... the sunrise and sunsets for any towns in that part of the earth still get over 10 hours of sunlight, even at this time of year, which is their winter season.

Check out the sunrise and sunset times for Invercargill, New Zealand for today.
http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/local/NZXX0016?lswe=invercargill,%20new%20zealand

Sunrise: 7:47
Sunset: 5:56
over 10 hours of sunlight (much greater than 4 hours)

Explain this!!!

magic bends the light.

That's a summary of what the most popular FE arguement will be.

How about if the sun is focused in an elliptical beam and pivots at a slight angle to the earth, much the same way as a coin does if you were to drop it on a flat surface. This is assuming a disk sun as well, I'm not sure if that's the belief or not.

I honestly would like to know what keeps the sun and moon in their very peculiar "orbits." I'm sure it's some magical tether  or something holding them in place while the earth constantly accelerates upwards to produce gravity. Maybe the sheer willpower of the 12 true believers? Or the whole sun/moon thing could just be part of a huge, thousand year old conspiracy.

Just as I thought...  This who FE Society is a HOAX...

They can not argue with what I published initially in this blog

These FE'ers are just clowning around trying to see just how far they can twist everyone's arguments against FE and wasting everybody's time in doing so.

Well duh.  It's like being at a school debating society, but at the level of trolling.

Did someone drag you here and force you to spend time reading these theories?
