The forums are dead (as far as intelligent discussion and non-repetition are concerned) and have been that way for almost a year now... There isn't a need for moderation. If there is any more moderation, the fuel in which keeps these threads even going will die out.

The only posters are four types:

A - Blow Hards. They agree simply to fit in. They cannot CONCEIVE of having an independent thought stream.
B - Trolls. They are just here for the lulz. They don't even know what Tom really IS.
C - Robots. Argumenteam Ad Nauseam. They partially give the Blow Hards a reason to assimilate the lie.
D - Mods - Downse Syndromites with a badge. The end.

5 are serious, or at least do a good job pretending to be. And not all 5 are active.
4 really try hard to convince others they are serious, when all their posts clearly are not.
21 are unarguably either trolls or spammers.

This is because the moderation here is poor. There is no effort to keep posts on topic, or to reduce spam. I will admit, that pornography is removed in a timely manner, so there is still some success. It's a breeding ground for trolls, and the member list is evidence.
