I look out of my window and see a barn, and a hill.

ergo, Tom Bishop logic - the earth is a Barn and a Hill, with many billions of trees and washing lines.
if i remember, austria is an old, dis-used name for what is now Germany.

Out of my window I see several interlocking gardens, with houses on each. I can expand that view to assume the entire earth is composed of back gardens.

Ok if i can remember correctly the average altitude I was at was about 250 feet.  The plane was a Cessna 150.  So I guess one could argue that the windows of the plane could be fake, but one could argue that the glass was fake.  And for the illusion, all that would result is that nobody really knows if the Earth is in fact an oblate sphere other than seeing it high up which would *just be an illusion*.

That's a hell of a violation of FAA flight rules.

screw that, I didn't go to University, (which cost me thousands of pounds that I'll most likely be paying for for the next 10-15 years), to do farm labour.

Okay first question, what are these experiments that we can do to prove the world is flat? Is anyone on here an actual scientist that has gone to at least graduate school? I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just curious...really.

First post.
Answer, I have a degree, ergo, yes. Some people here have gone to graduate school.

It seems, as far as FES is concerned, Z, you are a farmer. Whether or not you are is beside the point I'm affraid.

Cool, nice degree. The sort of logic that has lead them to think you are a farmer is the same logic that leads them to think the earth is flat.
i.e. You live on a farm, therefore you must be a farmer.

obviously.

Although, if I lived in town, it would cost more, but I wouldn't need a car. Car = fuel + tax + insurance + servicing costs = expensive.
