It cannot take a "few hundred men" as claimed by the FAQ to guard the icewall.  The icewall being at approximately 78225 miles in circumference with 1000 men, would be able to place a man every 78 miles, which is impossible for optics to observe that far due to atmosphere.  According to Tom, the visibility is at best 30 miles, thus proxducing an ideal minimum of 2608 men.  I guess that is where the penguins come in play.  :D

Apparently they go around on skis so that they can cover all of that distance before someone would be able to slip by. That also have massive amounts of helicopters that go around constantly.

The FAQ still does not explain it thoroughly and is highly sceptical in theory (analogous to one gurad gurading Fort Knox).  I am putting into debate "how" few guards could be used with actual sources.

It is illegal in the state of Kentucky to gurad, even between consenting adults. As Fort Knox is in KY, your analogy is void.
