Not Star Gate, it's X3. It's considerably more enjoyable, i.e. doesn't make you want to stab yourself in the eye.

Right now about 515 MB with CPU usage hover around 17%.
There's something about Vista where it uses all your memory or something so that programs run faster.  ::)

And yes, Microsoft took that notion from Mac OS X. Keeping RAM pre-wired so to speak makes things run faster and smoother.

I have 2 GB or RAM, and a Intel Core 2 CPU at 1.73 GHz.  May not be the best, but it does everything I want it to.  It's just the amount of RAM that's in use ALL the time that amazes me.

I have 2 GB or RAM, and a Intel Core 2 CPU at 1.73 GHz.  May not be the best, but it does everything I want it to.  It's just the amount of RAM that's in use ALL the time that amazes me.

That's normal then.
