It can be a continent if you want it to, but it's not in the usual formation of them. It's quite simple, it is known that there is ice in the far south. The shape of this ice (with land underneath for those who want to go into technicallities) is what is sketchy. It is said to be a continent surrounded by water, but this wont work for the FE theory. The ice must take the roll of the water, and the water that of the land. So you get the conclusion of a wall of ice with water within it (out of common sense). I don't see why you're doubting the existence of Antarctica/the Ice Wall.
