Gravitation, which isn't a force like he said.  However the engineer was sleeping in class and some how came out with the conclusion that says acceleration is gravitation, which isn't true.
Except that the Equivalence Principle says it is.
nope.  Like I always say, orbit what?  Acceleration cannot cause an orbit.  Therefor acceleration cannot be gravitation.
An orbit is an acceleration.  In order to be orbiting, an object must be accelerating.

Four known forces of the universe: strong force, weak force, electromagnetic force, and gravity.
Except that gravity is a pseudo force.

Yes but how does acceleration cause an object to orbit?

Because, that's how orbits...work.

So an accelerating object can cause another object to accelerate without touching it?  Strange, I cant say I ever threw a ball out my car window and had it start orbiting.

I thought the gravitation caused the acceleration which is the orbit.  But, are we talking about and accelerating object causing another object to orbit it?

I think he's right.  An object needs to be accelerating to get into an orbit.
It doesn't need to be accelerating, It would need to have a velocity that would allow for orbit.  The the spacetime curvature would do the rest.  Orbit it acceleration but its angular acceleration and spacetime causes it not another acceleration causing an acceleration.

Einstein.

And nobody answered my question about the pen falling. If the UA was real then acceleration would be constant and not vary by altitude. But it does.
Wavelength and intensity have nothing to do with frequency.

How would an object attain the velocity necessary for orbit if it wasn't accelerating?

This is incredible! Look up in the sky? I'd like to hear a flat earth believer tell me why all the other planets you can see with the naked eye or with a weak telescope appear round? Are they flat as well, or just earth? If they are all flat, why do they all appear round to us? Are they all facing us in this direction to dupe us?

I find it interesting that scientific evidence, or should I say, scientific fact that the Earth is round is not contemplated, and science is frowned upon, unless by some luck someone can use their own knowledge of 5th grade science to support their argument that the earth is flat?

When are you going to open your eyes? An accelerating object cannot cause an orbit.  Einstein himself said mass bends spacetime.  You do not under stand the Ep.    I don't fully understand it but I did read the article Tom posted.  Which its strange because he himself didn't read it, just like you.  You yourself even showed how accleration can have time dilation without spacetime bending.

Well, this just goes to show that you have no idea what is contained within Relativity.  So, in light of this new revelation, I'm done arguing it with you.  This whole time you have been claiming to be reading up on the subject, yet you still made the statement you did.
