Okay, so let's line up some simple lines of text that represent your beliefs vs. scientific findings.

You believe that the Earth is flat, and any evidence saying otherwise is either a unique optical illusion that makes no sense at all, or is a conspiracy by the government for the purpose of money.  Both of those issues by the way I've killed in previous posts during my short stay at this forum.

Science tends to believe, based on photographic proof, experiements, common sense, and things that you and I and everybody else on the planet can see with their naked eye, that the Earth is a sphere shape and that it revolves around the Sun.

Now this is where you guys are going to not like me.  Given the intellectual build of this forum (not impressive) I'm sure none of you are familiar with the "Occam's Razor Theory."  That is, all things being equal, the simplest answer is usually the correct one.  The simplest answer here of course, is that the world is a sphere.  That's the easiest way to explain all the phenomenon associated with that, rather than to say it all happens because of inexplicable optical illusions and farfetched conspiracies.

That said, I cannot believe I'm having this discussion with grown adults in the year 2007.  You do believe that it's 2007 right?

there's no proof that it's the year 2007. you are led to believe that this is true because the government pays teachers extra money to lie to you in order to cover up the conspiracy.

Coupla things:

1)  You don't have any previous posts on this forum (atleast under this name).
2)  Science does not make any assertions based on common sense.
3)  Occam's Razor is not a theory.
4)  The calendar year is an arbitrary number.  Some cultures do not believe this year is 2007.

Occam's Razor Theory.

Everyone here is familliar with this, and the truth is that the Round Earth theory is no more simple than our theory.

1) I did, but the threads were deleted.  All the posts I made were last night.  (Yes under this name)
2) True, they make them based on fact.
3) True I again I suppose, although the point does stand; that being your theory crumbles under it's own ridiculous complexities.
4) Do you belong to one of those cultures?

Err, no.  Your "theory" is based on hardcore skepticism and wacky claims.  It's hardly a theory based on any sort of scientifically collected fact, and it does very little to answer questions brought to challange it outside of "Oh that's just a conspiracy because we said so" or "it's an opticle illusion, but I have no way of explaining how it works in any way shape or form, you'll just have to take my word for it."

Meanwhile there's an embarrassment of riches in the way of scientific fact that anybody including you or I or Sally down the street can see with their own naked eye.

As I've said before, I honestly cannot bring myself to comprehend that there are people living on the planet during this day and age who still believe that the world is flat.
