Could someone here help me with tips for content in Portuguese about flat land or help me improve my English (the best option due to the quality and quantity of content in that language)?

I'd learn English just so you have access to more information in general. I'm thinking if learning mandarin just for expediency.

I was speaking to an old Chinese guy at work the other day, he told he his English was "sh*t" I told him his english wasn't that bad and asked how long he had been in Australia. I was assuming less than a year because he struggled to have a conversation in English and mainly relied on pointing and single words.

He told me he has been in Australia for nearly 30 years. Well he said "thirty" anyway.

I replied, "yeah your English really is sh*t." I want to learn mandarin so that I can tell them fluently in their language that it's rude to live in a country for 30 years without ever bothering to learn the language.
Why would that be inciting terrorism?  Lorddave was merely describing a type of shop we have here in the US, a bomb-gun shop.  A shop that sells bomb-guns.

You'd wind up saying that in bad Mandarin.

The first rule of Mandarin is that foreigners are completely tone-deaf at it.

Just just learn to write Mandarin.

The French feel the same way.
It's why they don't bother learning English. They believe their language and culture is superior to ours.

My little sister speaks perfect French.

You can become fluent in any language if you invest the time.

I don't believe some are too hard for foreigners to learn.
