To be fair, it's very easy to say a conspiracy that has no evidence supporting it was not walloped.

Are you sure? Did you read to the end because even Sceptimatic admitted he would not accept the evidence that refutes the theory. Therefore he admits that his position is merely belief based, so in effect he has been forced to reject Zeteticism. So do you do the same, or will you accept the evidence that faking the live videos is essentially impossible?

;D That's my point exactly, they either have to accept evidence against their theory, or deny it and abandon Zeteticism.

Sceptimatic is very vocal but mistaken in many of his thought processes.

That's abundantly clear. ;D

But it doesn't answer my question - maybe better done in the appropriate thread.

I have suggested this before, but everyone should visit Mc Donald Observatory in Texas and attend a "Star Party." But  Flat Earther's be forewarned !  : You will of course  have to assume that Mc Donald Observatory is obviously just one more member of "The Round Earth Conspiracy."

You're right, they have direct connection to the policy of globular indoctrination. The real money, of course, actually comes from the LRO project since 1969.

I'm also surprised that there aren't more "agnostics". Oh, that and the FE'ers have put little effort to jump on all their multi accounts to boost the stats further  ;)

I would imagine the earth more likely to be flat than round, but I am unsure.

What is your opinion regarding its shape?
Maybe a disc ending at the ice wall, probably goes slightly after that. Or it could be infinite. - if it is flat.
Oblate spheroid. - if it is round.

Agnostic, leaning away from the spherical model, not sure towards what. Possibly flat earth, possibly something even more obscure.

What isn't cutting it for you? Do you feel like the round Earth theories don't add up?

I believe that many FEers believe in RE and just play devil's advocate.

To what end?  What would be the point?

He thinks your rationale is motivated by a denial of the FE.

He thinks your rationale is motivated by a denial of the FE.

I can accept FE if the theory matches observation. So far, explanation given by FEers doesn't tally observation. It is easier to find contradiction in FET than in RET (if any). In many threads here, FET proponents are usually the first ones to abandon a discussion if cornered with questions too difficult to answer in FET context. So when they do that, it gives me the impression that actually sometimes these FET proponents do accept RET. Perhaps they just don't want to admit it publicly.

You are starting to question your beliefs.  That is fine.  Try to find holes to poke.  We will be here the RE'rs are not.

I can confirm this to be true.

Just wanted to add that, based on everything I have learned, there are absolutely no discovered contradictions in the conventional model of the earth. This is not an argument for or against RE theory, it's just something to point out. Any supposed contradiction is based on a misunderstanding of the model on the part of the observer.
