I'd like to say a very warm "thank you" to those who have set up this forum. I've been a closet FE'er all my life. My uncle Jack was an FEer and came out one afternoon at a family barbecue. Man! I have never seen my Dad go so totally batshit crazy as that day! Uncle Jack was lucky to escape with just a few bruises, and was never allowed to have any contact with me or my sister since. Dad has descended into Alzheimer's now (God bless his soul) and struggles to know the day of the week, or the names of family members. But if someone mentions the words "flat" and "earth" in the same sentence, the veins on the sides of his head stick out, his nose and forehead turn a dusky shade of purple, and he starts foaming and slavering.
I registered on this site just 15 minutes ago, and already I can feel the oppression of a life-time lifting from my shoulders. I know I'm going to enjoy it here, among like-minded, intelligent, lovely people!
