Yes, I think we all have. Too bad the dysentery is already setting in.

Do the other apartment departments have the same problem? Is your water supply a well or city municipal water?

My well sometimes has an odd smell.  I have never felt any side effects from this.

The solution is simple:
Find the main water supply and put some(a lot of) acid into it.  A lot of acid.  It'll dissolve the mouse eventually.

Just don't drink the water for a while.

Yes.  And do not bathe or cook in the mean time.

Don't listen to Dave, that is a stupid idea. There is no way a mouse could get in the pipe. Maybe in a well or something but not the pipe.Acid in there could hurt people, and even eat through the pipes, depending on what they are made of.

HCL(aq).  The more you dissolve it into water, the more effective it is.

Yes, I think we all have. Too bad the dysentery is already setting in.

Does it come from the hot or the cold water tap?

If it's the hot water tap something dodgy might be in your water tank.

So I've just spent 3 days away on a conference job thingy. I seem to be getting a lot of these off site type jobs.

Anyway, so I met this woman on this job. She is 33. Now my boss tipped me off that she had seen me in my camouflage paint and liked it. So Th*rk you FES!  >o<

Anyway, she is pretty and smart. But herein lies the problem. She isn't just regularly smart. She finished her A-Levels at 16 and then did two degrees back to back. When you talk to her its very obvious she is not operating on my just slightly better than average intellect (she is a doctor/entrepreneur). She is absolutely driven (+rich) and I suspect that I would be a constant source of disappointment to such a woman. But she's 33 and kinda under the gun time-wise and possibly not as fussy as she ought to be.

So my balls are telling me to go on a date and my mind is telling me that I'm wasting her now fairly precious time. The beer is telling me to post my intimate thoughts on FES.

So ... should I ask out Einstein woman or just get real?

Because Æ is a total tw*t to type into a smart phone to log in and I decided that it doesn't matter what third name I picked, you'd all still call me Thork.

So by popular demand ... Thork it is.

Back on topic ... Einstein woman

She sounds very low maintenance to me.
You didn't see her . Everyone she met, "can I have your business card, can I do a speech at you next conference, have you seen my products, are you interested in ...."
It was exhausting. If she had an off button, I would have flicked it. But she is hot and very smart. I'd guess my IQ is about 120 or so. I dunno. Never had it done. But she'd be 160+. I think after a while, she'd be bored of me.

But there is no way she would be low maintenance. "Have you done the washing up? What about the ironing?  You haven't calculated pi to 300 digits like I asked ".

I dunno. Like I say ... hot but probably a bit out of my league.

By the way I'm only sharing this with you because I just got home and I have been drinking a lot.

Thork, she's definitely out of your league. In fact, just about every woman I've ever met is out of your league. Except Bon Bon. She was 400 pounds and lived in a trailer park. I'll send her your picture.

I don't want to write my paper or do my reading. Someone do all my responsibilities for me so I can get drunk and play video games and give candy out.

Ask her out to lunch or something harmless. If she says no, it's no biggie. You'll be sorry by next year if you don't even try.

Ask her out.  Just because she's a genius workaholic doesn't mean she's looking for the same.  Its likely she wants someone far from her.  Someone who she can relax and have a good time around.  Perhaps even a trophy husband.

Point is, you don't know what she wants until you ask.  So ask her out and make her laugh.

Irrelevant.  What makes you think that she could put up with you long enough for that to become an issue?  Just ask her out before she comes to her senses.
