it took VERY long to just get the satellites pictures of everything, and theres no telling how long it would take to rearrange the pictures to make a sphere shaped earth

Most of those pictures actually are taken from airplanes.

Um no really, they are taken from airplanes.  I'm RE and I won't disupute that.

Aircraft photos.  Why do they use them if it is so difficult to project onto a sphere?

I think he meant that it would be hard to project them onto a sphere if the Earth was flat.

I'm a RE'er and I totally agree on North Korea. The air space...aircraft are not allowed to fly in certain airspace.

But as for the pacific ocean...well just copy and past innit

No it isn't. All images are rectangular. No matter how complex a 3D object is, all maps and textures that are used on that object will be rectangular.

exactly, now if the earth is flat and google is in on the "conspiracy", how long and how much money do you think it would take to get ALL those rectangular photos and then compile them onto a sphere to make it appear that the earth is round???

Yall aren't getting what im tryin to say

They would have to do the exact same thing with the images regardless of how they got them. So I don't see your point.

From the FAQ
"Our images are photographs taken by satellites and aircraft sometime in the last three years."

Yes, but they don't take the images themselves. They get the images from the government, and government funded companies. They have no way of knowing that the images they are using aren't actually taken from satellites.

Not long, and not much.
