Why do lefties do this?
Wouldn't you feel more comfortable in a vibrant and diverse place like India or Somalia?
Because although they talk about racism, it's on their mind constantly. Conservatives live and work with blacks and Hispanics. It's not even on our minds. We deal with customers, coworkers, amd bosses of all sorts. Your diversity policies made most of us get over it. But liberals are in gated communities, on their smartphone being an influencer. I wonder how many people they would influence if it came out how cloistered their life was.
This reminds me of how suburban and upper middle class white people think and talk about the south. They tend to live in white enclaves, probably only know a couple black people (in their same social class), and the Mexican people they know are their servants. Meanwhile, most of the working class south live in diverse neighborhoods, go to schools that are diverse, work, shop, live, etc with people from all ethnic backgrounds. The only thing I can think of down here that is still segregated are churches, but not even all of them are like that anymore. Not to say that racism doesn't exist in the south, because it does, but the people pushing division tend to be damn yankees (that was a joke, don't come for me).
