D1 do you know Chris Peacock and Ivor Bigun?

No.

Besides I think we've come to an agreement here.

I acknowledge that I could have been asking anything here, it's not at all clear what I'm saying, there must be dozens of equally valid interpretations of this post. Some people might see a shopping list, others a poem, perhaps others see a story.

Do you know Barbara and Jim Matza?

And Lukes answer is equally indecipherable.
I just cant make heads or tails of what Luke meant by this. Again there are dozens of equally valid interpretations.

Yes and they're doing very well

No serious person can honestly say that this is an easy to understand exchange. No one can really know what was being asked or what was being said, there are dozens of equally valid interpretations.

Jimmy is very clever.

Why would that be inciting terrorism?  Lorddave was merely describing a type of shop we have here in the US, a bomb-gun shop.  A shop that sells bomb-guns.

Croutons old pastors.
It seems Im one of the only people here with a memory.

I grew up in Henderson in a school call Echoes of Faith Christian Academy.

Seems like quite an exclusive school. Very hard to find information about it.

Why the hell would I remember that?  That's if I even knew to start with.

Who's to say. People often accuse me of remembering everything someone has ever said, and it's not a baseless accusation.

Which is funny because have any of you seen my car keys? I drove home last night they must be around somewhere, maybe I should check in the fridge.

Over 340 views for a subject that says virtually nothing. One suspects this is no accident, but rather a deliberate diversion—time spent here that might otherwise be invested in discourse of actual consequence.

It's the lounge. Nothing here is really supposed to have a point. However if you want a point, the moral of the story is, don't be afraid to challenge your own beliefs.
The Bible doesn't support a flat earth.

Scripture, facts, science, stats, and logic is how I argue.

We're in limited contact status. I'll visit on holidays and such, but they're not in my everyday life. My parents are still very much homophobic conservative Christians. I haven't told them that I'm agnostic now because in my mind, I know who I am and despite my upbringing, I don't want my parents to "know" that I'm heading to hell and be worrying about me. They already think I'm going to hell for being gay, but at the very least, I could always pull the "the only prerequisite for being saved is accepting Jesus Christ as my lord and Savior" card if I'm ever pressured about it.

Must be a very bizarre head space, changing from such an extreme point of view to the opposite.

Becoming an atheist here (UK), is almost mandatory as you grow up, like not believing in Santa.
The gay thing would have upset my father, but then again just about everything did.

It may seem that way at first, but I was "for the cause" so to speak and when things started to not make sense through my worldview, I had to know why and how to reconcile with it. Austin Archer has a nice video explaining this phenomenon.

Very interesting, and it struck a chord.
In my teens I felt that if there was anything in religion I personally should take it seriously, it didn't seem like it should be a back burner, Sundays only kinda thing, so I read the bible and as I wasn't in and surrounded by the faithful the “plot holes” as he said, were glaring, but I still needed something Spiritual.
I'd always been into nature and a bit of a loner, taking myself off alone along the canal, down in to the woods just sitting, watching and listening, I read some Taoist books and they resonated but I don't believe there is a plan or an afterlife, just that I'm part of everything, that I've come out of nature and will in time return to the sleep I was in before I was born, and that's enough.

Do you live at your gym?
Im impressed.
That's dedication.

No, obviously I don't, but to give you my hometown and gym I go to would might as well be me blasting my home address. I'm simply practicing safe internet habits.

Good that u've (afaik) got stable housing. And indeed, suburb / address is wayyy too much info for a public forum, even in private I avoid giving out those details unless truly needed (eg for delivery from a reputable site).
