It is not genocide. It is war.
Israel is in a constant war with "Palestine" and at least on incidental war with a Muslim country. Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya, etc might attack Israel at any given year.
I want you to stop what you are doing, and read the Bible. Specifically cross-reference all passages about Amalekites.
Genesis 14:7; Exodus 17:9-11, 17:16; Numbers 13:29, 14:25, 14:43, 14:45; Deuteronomy 25:17, Judges 1:16, 3:13, 6:3, 6:33, 7:12, 10:12, 12:15; 1 Samuel 14:48, 15:2-3, 15:5-8, 15:15, 15:18, 15:20, 15:32, 27:8... a few times in 2 Samuel, and finally in Esther. The Lord promise to wipe them out, because they attack over and over and over. Now, I erased Esther from my Bible, because I believe Purim is an unhealthy holding on to grudges of ghosts of dead tribes, but the Jews consider those who actively want to kill them like the spirit of Hamon.
Does the Lord smile at genocide? No. Does the Lord occasionally help Israel when it makes war? Oh yes.
Now I'm gonna ignore the sob story the Muslim people tell about "Boooohoooooo, these Jews attacked us and we have never ever done
anything to them." Because in neither case is it true.
Iran and Israel became adversaries following the Iranian Revolution in 1979, when Iran severed ties on 18 February 1979 and adopted an openly hostile stance toward Israel. Over the following decades, the rivalry expanded through proxy forces and regional influence campaigns, including Iran's support for Hezbollah and Hamas, as well as its nuclear program and ballistic missile development.
As for hostilities with Palestine...
The conflict has its origins in the rise of Zionism in the late 19th century in Europe, a movement which aimed to establish a Jewish state through colonization in the region of Palestine. The Zionist movement garnered the support of an imperial power in the 1917 Balfour Declaration issued by Britain, which promised to support the creation of a "Jewish homeland" in Palestine. Following British occupation of the formerly Ottoman region during World War I, Mandatory Palestine was established as a British mandate.
Promised land, then sold it to their enemies. Even so, they lived in this land, for the most part, despite constant attacks and people literally telling them their state is illegal.
Since 2006, Israel has fought several wars with the ruling party in the Gaza Strip, Hamas. Attacks by Hamas-led armed groups in October 2023 in Israel, which resulted in nearly 1,200 deaths, were followed by another war, which has caused widespread destruction, loss of life, mass population displacement, a humanitarian crisis, and a famine in the Gaza Strip.
Funny, normally when 1200 of my friends and family are killed, and I fight back in a war, they don't accuse me of genocide. They call it war.
The West's myopia on this issue is like a giant beam in their eye.
Also, Israel is a secular state? This is news to me. The only place more religious is maybe India.
