The system works.

We have a belief, so we discuss it here on these forums. We don't send people out to bring others here (Except BOG, but he was just.. I dunno what he was thinking at the time...) to try and argue our points. You came here out of curiosity and the belief that you can either sway us of our belief, or mock us. You demand something that we don't have to give. If you want to say that our beliefs are wrong, then you need to prove how. We can counterclaim by pointing you to the FAQ, Conspiracy thread, and the FE Knowledgebase section. Everything is outlined, and we even gave you other sources to reference.

We've already done our part, now it's up to you to defend the beliefs that you come here to challenge ours with.

Except of course... that that's complete bullshit. It's easy to spot the people that actually believe the world is flat... they spout bizarrly insane, irrevelant shit (Like Dionysios). To be fair, I have some respect for that. He actually believes that crap, and doesn't try to lie.

As such, I don't think for a second that you believe the world is flat. Which begs the question... Who is the 'us' to which you refer? Other idiots acting like they believe the world is flat?

Why? Why the charade?

Here... look at this:

In actuality, that's the last thing you discuss. All you guys do is screw around with people that come in wondering how, in the 21st century, there could still be people that believe the world is flat.

Right, thats why the following exist: FE Forum, FE Repository, FAQ, Conspiracy Compendium and all the other threads for FE knowledge.

As far as I have seen, we don't screw with anyone who tries to use some decent, well rounded effort to debate. We're open to debate. In fact, there's been PLENTY of healthy discussions. That's why we ask you to read the FAQ, do a search, etc. So that you don't look like fools.

To come here and spout idiocies like "OMG TEH NUBS" and the like shows a lack of intelligence, effort into thought, and does not deserve to be treated respectfully. Although some of us do try, I will admit that I do not. I am the more cynical of the group. Insane even at times. So your argument is completely unfounded. If you don't like it, nothing's keeping you here, you're free to leave at any time. The thing is, it seems, that when people come here, they are so offended that there are people who actually believe in a flat earth that they feel compelled to stay and continue to be arrogant and the like. And as such, we are allowed to return the favor.

Act like a child, treated like a child. Act with respect, and be rewarded.

why do you don't go by yourself then?

maybe you are afraid to discover your "theory" is wrong.

I don't need to go since I've seen the earth from outer space. I work for NASA. Maybe I'm in sleep mode and all the images I've seen are fake. Some sort of the Matrix!!

It's cold there, and again, I'm not spending thousands of dollars to prove to myself something I already know to be true.

Guess again. Anyone familiar with the equivalence principle (As you seem to be) would certainly have sufficient intellect to figure out at least ONE blaring hole in the FE hypothesis. As such, I know you're bullshitting me.

So... I ask, if you don't believe the FE hypothesis, why are you here defending it? Hmm?
