Gravity waves anyone? Or gravity waves hello?

Just thought it was an interesting phenomenon.

A key feature of this arrangement is a deep low-level inversion (a layer in which the temperature increases with height). Gravity waves. It's not really anything people can really have an opinion on as their detection is so out of reach and beyond anyones capability to do so. While Einstein did  predicted their existence mathematically they have only been detected using machines such as LIGO or NANOGrav which are so incredibly specialised. This is one of the many areas of science where the public, and some people will hate this, are totally reliant on 'Experts' to provide them with the information. In the case of gravitational waves the only reason we know know they exist is thanks to the expert astronomers and engineers who built and operate both LIGO and NANOGrav. We can only stand by and spectate.

My bad! I just looked at the  headline  and assumed he was on about gravitational waves, as I’ve never heard about gravity waves. Though the poster is correct it is pretty interesting.
