If that Evil, Devil worshipper Erdogan doesn't round up all the contractors and engineers of all the fallen buildings, and put them all in an empty building, block of flats and do a controlled demolition of it, and send them to Hell, then he can burn in Hell forever!

It's Turkey.  Did you expect building standards to be on par with US, UK, GE, FR, AUS?

I would hazard a guess that anyone missing or presumed to still be under rubble will be considered dead. And that number is shockingly high.

Expect the number of dead to be well in excess of 100K. According to wises statistic of nearly 300K under debris and if that's accurate than north of 200K dead is likely. It's hard to imagine anyone still alive under there right now after all this time

Will this disaster and the handling of it be Erdogan's undoing as it was his predecessor?

Turkey is not a backwater shithole country - so why were many homes and buildings built as if it is?

According to the latest figures, 31 thousand 643 people lost their lives and 80 thousand 278 people were injured.

I think it is at least 100,000, but after a few days, the state will not count after 20,000 as the dead will turn into normal death.

I got pretty close. After the death toll of 31,648, all official institutions stopped giving new death tolls for 24 hours.
I predicted that it would be at 20,000 and that after 20,000 dead they would no longer count.

The reason they do this is to avoid public to panic. Because now, all those who come out of the wreckage are dead and the number is increasing rapidly. I'm not even sure they'll give the last number.

A very close calculation is that the death toll is 220,000-270.000.

I can even give an exact number as 245,000+-10,000 by giving an integer.
