Trump will strut around, we will posture and the IDF with American backing will continue to murder children queuing for flour.

All your colleagues are saying Trump has chickened out this morning, so I can only take that as saying they don't believe Trump will get involved in the Iran war.

Which is reassuring.

For me.

They are hoping that if they accuse Trump of chickening out it will hurt his ego and he'll go ahead and drop the bunker buster bombs.

Haha.  I use the Theoden and Wormtongue analogy a lot these days.  Not entirely sure about Tucker Carlson as Gandalf though.

Sadly I don’t really see Gandalf or Aragorn anywhere in all this.  Just a lot of Grimas, Theodens and the occasional Saruman.

Could be a case for Trump as Denethor as well.

There's so much chatter about US B-2 bombers en route to Iran currently. I guess I'll find out if there's anything to it tomorrow morning.

I think the world would see it as an act of US aggression.

Apparently this comes from CNN who I was sure would support the strikes, but credit where it's due this is a great clip.

Edit.
It's John Stewart, stupid click bait youtube channels, I'd only seen the webm.

John Stewart is Jewish too, good for him, it's very good.

We should ask Rayzor or Stash.
They could explain it to us.

Edit.

Ted is using all of Rayzors talking points.

>Is AIPAC a foreign lobby?
>You're an antisemite obsessed with the Jews!

Interviews like this with people like Tucker are important for this issue because Tucker is so reasonable and has been very sympathetic to Israel in the past.

Ted Cruz would have got me pretty early on.
>AIPAC is ran by Americans
>Yeah American Jews
>AHA! I got you now
>Interview continues for an hour calling me an anti-semite

Tucker obviously knows the traps and was careful not to fall into one.

Apparently it was hugely successful in eliminating the threat.

No need for Israel to keep bombing Iran, and no need for further US involvement, right?  Right?

Trump is very close to making 4chan his enemy. Which is unwise.

https://thehill.com/homenews/house/5363109-trump-maga-thomas-massie/

Thomas Massie is a good man who cares about the US more than he cares about Israel, which apparently isn't allowed, in the MAGA movement.

It's interesting how the US is boasting about destroying a weapon that didn't exist. Trump talking about how they took the bomb out of their hands. What bomb? They didn't have one and they weren't making one.

I also love how they are portraying Iran as being extremely dangerous and "crazy" to argue Iran should never develop nuclear weapons. If anything, Iran has shown extreme restraint, not just now, but throughout the whole of the crisis. Israel has repeatedly assassinated Iranians and bombed its soil but Iran has been extremely measured in its response, because they don't want to escalate things beyond their capabilities. That doesn't sound "crazy" to me.

Or maybe Iran indicated that they were prepared to reopen the talks that were cancelled when Israel attacked?

On Friday some European representatives met with Iranians in Geneva to discuss a way forward.  Not particularly successfully , but a clear sign they were engaging.

Saturday night the US joined in.

At least they didn’t use our base in the end, even after it looked like the bombers were heading there.   Not clear if they asked for permission and were refused, decided to avoid the possibility, or had some other reason?

That's like saying a person with no arms is showing restraint by not punching anyone.

I totally disagree  with bombing Iran (I'm sure Trump and Bibi are taking note), but they are very firmly in FAFO territory.  Their dreams of becoming the preeminent power in the region look laughable now and their incompetent regime will be just desperate to cling on to power.

If it does collapse, fuck knows what kind of a mess could ensue.   Probably way worse than all the other super successful "regime changes" so far...

Apparently Trump's "We totally destroyed the nuclear weapons" was not... accurate.  The success is questionable and frankly, that's no surprise.

What Trump supporters should be asking is... how did North Korea make nukes BEFORE Iran if Iran IS trying to make a nuke?
Gone.
