KYIV — Ukrainian officials stole about $40 million meant for the purchase of ammunition for the military, the country’s internal security service said Saturday — confirming a massive procurement fraud as Kyiv seeks to assure international backers that it is cracking down on corruption.

Though it was state money — not foreign aid — that was embezzled, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said in a statement, the scheme is likely to resonate in both Washington and Brussels, where European Union membership and continued financial and military assistance hang in the balance.

Some detractors have pointed to Ukraine’s history with corruption as reason to stop providing money to the country nearly two years into its war with Russia. Ukrainian officials insist that they are being hypervigilant and cracking down hard on graft.

The only way I see it benefiting is if the US enforces a cease fire.  The US can't make a cease fire happen without diplomacy or force.  And diplomacy has already failed.  And if the US was to jump in as a force for peace, they'd be meddling in yet ANOTHER Middle East conflict and it may give Iran the needed justification to press attacks and start a big war, forcing the US to divert aid from Ukraine to Israel, which would help Putin.

And its certainly possible, but it requires alot more work than just protestors.

Not so fast.  Then Trump jumps in and blows it all up.  He outright says he wants the border as a campaign issue so the GOP can't vote for any border bill until after the election.

A theoretical cease fire isn't relevant.  Israel doesn't actually need any additional weapons.  We just want to give Israel more weapons for... reasons.  The Bible I guess.
