Rothschilds evil beginnings

So I learned their original name was Bauer, 'farmer' in German.
One day around 300-400 years ago, the story goes that one of them
found his Father dead with the red shield (Rothschild) symbol and Hexagram (Asmodeus) emblem.

So of course he changed the family name from Bauer to Rothschild.
Wait what? How do you go from a humble 'farmer' name to something like red blood shield.
More importantly, why?
To me it's symbolic of their modus operandi:
they cause so much needless death and bloodshed of innocents, yet remain protected. True       

Seems like Bauer might have been someone influential that opposed central banking,
and in the best Illuminati/Mason tradition they offed him and took over his name, house and family.

What is this bollocks, Is this what passes as evidence now?

Where did he find the emblem, scorched into the earth around him, branded on his forehead, a slip of parchment in his pocket?
And then finding his dad dead with strange symbols around, as a farmer his first thought is obviously, “Well let’s rename the family in honour of those that apparently killed him and go into banking.”

Sorry the plot is poor, too many unanswered questions and broken logic, 1 out of 10.
