The volcanic erruption in Iceland - man walking on crater!
« on: June 11, 2021, 10:40:11 AM »
So apparently, the volcano is still errupting after 3 months or so!

And apprently today, one really fucking stupid tourist was walking on the crater.

Now I wonder, could it have been shifter (=gollum) trying to get back the ring?

Molten rock - lava - flows out of a crack in the Earth's crust at Iceland. Iceland is an island in the Atlantic ocean. No volcano has been formed at the crack. The lava just flows out. The crack is very deep - 20 000 meter, we are told, and cannot be plugged. If you ask the Iceland experts how the lava is heated up down below Iceland, they haven't a clue. They suggest that the complete Earth below the crust is hot, liquid lava. The Earth is 99.9 % liquid lava below a thin crust we are walking on.
I agree 100% . A flat Earth cannot float on hot, molten lava.

Yes, lava is magma and magma is lava. But how does it become so hot? Radioactive decay? But there is no radiation!

What spreads the sea floors and moves the continents? What melts iron in the outer core and enables the Earth’s magnetic field? Heat. Geologists have used temperature measurements from more than 20,000 boreholes around the world to estimate that some 44 terawatts (44 trillion watts) of heat continually flow from Earth’s interior into space. Where does it come from?

Radioactive decay of uranium, thorium, and potassium in Earth’s crust and mantle is a principal source,
and in 2005 scientists in the KamLAND collaboration, based in Japan, first showed that there was a way to measure the contribution directly. The trick was to catch what KamLAND dubbed geoneutrinos – more precisely, geo-antineutrinos – emitted when radioactive isotopes decay. (KamLAND stands for Kamioka Liquid-scintillator Antineutrino Detector.)

“As a detector of geoneutrinos, KamLAND has distinct advantages,” says Stuart Freedman of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab), which is a major contributor to KamLAND. Freedman, a member of Berkeley Lab’s Nuclear Science Division and a professor in the Department of Physics at the University of California at Berkeley, leads U.S. participation. “KamLAND was specifically designed to study antineutrinos. We are able to discriminate them from background noise and detect them with very high sensitivity.”

KamLAND scientists have now published new figures for heat energy from radioactive decay in the journal Nature Geoscience. Based on the improved sensitivity of the KamLAND detector, plus several years’ worth of additional data, the new estimate is not merely “consistent” with the predictions of accepted geophysical models but is precise enough to aid in refining those models.

One thing that’s at least 97-percent certain is that radioactive decay supplies only about half the Earth’s heat. Other sources – primordial heat left over from the planet’s formation, and possibly others as well – must account for the rest.

Maybe before you hit 'post' you understand WTF you are talking about first. It would save you from continually embarrassing yourself with your constant displays of ignorance

I just wondered why magma/lava is so hot when it today flows up in the garden of an Iceland friend of mine! But is it really radioactive decay? There is no radiation from the lava except heat. In Japan there are several types of radioactive decay, e.g. explosive fission vaporizing Hiroshima and Nagasaki 1945 except plenty survivors witnessing it. Then there is the Fukushima nuclear plant with controlled fission that 2011 overheated due to a tsunami so plenty people had to evacuate  or die. Those that didn't evacuate didn't die. Since then I have doubts about nuclear physics and radiation.

How is the heat of the Earth produced?
http://milesmathis.com/aurora2.pdf
http://milesmathis.com/core.pdf
It isn't produced by a spinning iron core or any of that nonsense, it is created by recycling charge coming in from the Sun and planets and galactic core.
