Seems so sudden.  I thought he was doing well.  I'm hearing rumors about getting Ken Jennings to host Jeopardy.

I'm sorry. Am I to understand that when you have a boner you like to imagine punching the shit out of Tom Bishop? That's disgusting.

Long-time host of Jeopardy!.

He was 80 and had been fighting pancreatic cancer, which is a nasty fight with a low-survival rate, so this ain't a surprise.

But many people have fond memories of watching his programs over the years, and he seemed like a good guy, so go be an ass somewhere else.

They were showing a story about his life on the news last night.  It was adorable.  He lives in a house that didn't at all look like someone who has like a billion dollars would live in and he does all the maintenance on it himself.

Kind of got a Mr. Rogers vibe from it.

Makes sense, he was Canadian.

But he did manage to land a pretty hot trophy wife. ;)

Someone had posted this on reddit the other day and I thought it was pretty great. They said they hope this is what Alex saw immediately after he passed.
