Trump is not just being a jerk, he is being dangerous.  How far will he take this?  Will he order the wall around the White House built higher and stronger with his own security and refuse to leave?  AN armed standoff?  Order the military to defend him?

Unlikely.

What do you think is Trump’s favourite thing about being president?  The responsibility and work of running a government?  Or the rallies, the fans and being in the news constantly?

My bet is that he will step down peacefully, but never step aside quietly.  He’ll keep doing rallies, he’ll keep tweeting, he’ll keep selling merch and he’ll keep stirring up shit.

Being the “legitimate” people’s president  who tried to Make America Great Again, but had the job stolen from him by the corrupt elites and the lame stream media is a perfect fit for the grievance culture he thrives off.  It’s going to be his brand and his business model for years.

This of course is plenty dangerous enough.

An apt assessment for sure. We're going to wake up some morning to the launch of the Trump News Network and suffer his Rush inspired rhetoric for the next 4 years. Oh well, at least he won't have access to the football anymore.

Yesterday my 76yr old mother asked me what Parler is. lol

Today, 59yo me asks what is Parler?
Is that something where intellectually vacuous folks find out what to think?
It's a place where you can say anything you want and not get banned (you'll totally still get banned but that's beside the point) and you can get the complete unfiltered truth about those demonic democrats stealing the election by stuffing the ballot boxes with 3.89 billion fake ballots.

In all seriousness, it's a place where "totally not snowflake" conservatives can escape from the evils of Facebook censoring their disinformation.

You kinda forgot to write something.

You forgot about the part where being president makes him immune to prosecution, he can pardon himself (he thinks) and his friends and can fire people in the justice department if they try and look at his taxes.

His position protects him, and he won't give it up.

And what responsibility and work? Watch TV all day? Golf?

No, he needs the job, and his ego won't allow him to admit he lost. This guy is dangerous. He's hurting the country NOW, as the time grows shorter who knows what he's going to do.

But, this IS America. We know how to handle his kind, eventually. If he pushes too far, we will push right back.

I think I wrote this before, but in short, here's my theory:

- He won't concede. He doesn't have to.
- He will pardon himself

Result: He doesn't have to publicly admit defeat, he won't have to be present at the whole inauguration thing, and he will be immune to at least federal prosecution. He will continue to rant and rave about how the election was stolen. He will fire up his new media venture and try to take the mantel from Rush, make $250 mill a year doing so, and keep himself in the limelight enjoying the embrace from his base.

Trump finally admitted that Biden won the election.

He the immediately said Biden cheated and that hw would keep fighting and eventually win.

But hey, progress!  The fat orange clown finally figured out 306 is bigger than 232.

It's bigger than 303 too. :D

Trump’s lawyers have dropped the claim that observers didn’t have access in Pennsylvania.

They are now only claiming that allowing voters to fix any technical problems on their ballot shouldn’t have been allowed.

So no fraud then.  They aren’t even alleging fraud in court.   Just trying to invalidate people’s votes.

Speaking of his ego not letting him admit he lost... now all the court cases he lost and got thrown out of court are suddeny 'other people' and totally nothing to do with him.

He would never lose a court case!  LOL.

How long before he claims Rudy was just a loose cannon and he hardly knows the guy?

Unless you filled in her ballot for Trump.  In which case it is not voter fraud.

Nah,  he lost his daddys money with bad deals and failed casinos.   When that ran out he made millions on TV pretending to be rich.   Then when he blew through that as well, he turned to the Russian mob for money laundering deals funded by Deutshe Bank.   He's still in hock for over 400 million.

Georgia found some missing ballots https://www.ajc.com/politics/georgia-recount-uncovers-2600-new-votes-in-presidential-race/I75NSPYYGNF43HQZBPYKJWJ5MA/

Quote
A recount in Georgia’s presidential race found more than 2,600 ballots in Floyd County that hadn’t originally been tallied, likely helping President Donald Trump reduce his 14,000-vote deficit to Joe Biden.

Trump could gain nearly 800 net votes from the discovered ballots. There were 1,643 new votes for Trump and 865 for Biden.

I'm confident that auditing the Election through legal, systematic avenues will produce instances of voter fraud that'll change the outcome.

Then, once those few hundred or maybe even a thousand votes have been found, and once the popular vote has been adjusted very slightly to reflect that, Biden will still be President.
